Greece: Paros Wildfire Seen From Airport.

Greece - July 28, 2026 Firefighters have brought a wildfire on the Greek Aegean island of Paros under control after battling the blaze through the night, a fire service spokesman told public broadcaster ERTNews on Wednesday. The situation has improved significantly, the spokesman said, after several communities were evacuated as a precaution while the fire spread on Tuesday. The fire service stopped short of declaring the danger over because of strong winds in the region.
