VARIOUS OF PEOPLE ENJOYING MUSIC PERFORMANCES AT FESTIVAL AREA HELSINKI, FINLAND - MAY 17, 2026: The World Village Festival was held in Helsinki’s Lasipalatsi district and Narinkka Square on May 16-17, featuring music performances, discussions, workshops, children’s programs and exhibitor stands. Organizers said the annual event attracted more than 20,000 visitors over the weekend. This year’s theme, "Freedom," was reflected throughout the festival program. Nearly 90 exhibitors took part in the event across Narinkka Square, Mauno Koivisto Square and the Bio Rex area, offering creative activities and interactive content. The World Village Festival is an annual admission-free cultural event in Finland focused on global issues, sustainable development and community engagement.
