China: Groomed Chinese dog looks like a lion in shop.

Anhui, China - May 17, 2026 On May 18, 2026, in Anhui, located in eastern China, a surveillance video captured a large dog that looked like a lion walking into a supermarket. A black-and-white cat in the shop was so frightened that it quickly hid behind a table. The dog then wandered around inside the store while the cat stayed out of sight. The shop owner soon noticed something was wrong and quickly got up to drive the dog away. Only after the dog left did the cat finally come out again. At first glance, the dog really did resemble a lion, which is why many Chinese viewers joked that the scene looked like it had happened in Africa.
