Tibet, China - July 13, 2026 This is the terrifying moment that a Chinese cyclist leapt over a roadside guardrail after a turning semi-trailer came dangerously close to crushing him. On July 14, 2026, in the Tibet Autonomous Region, China, the video captured the man resting beside his bicycle during a journey along the Sichuan Tibet route. As he stood between his bicycle and a metal guardrail, a large truck began turning around the bend and moved extremely close to the roadside. Realising that the narrowing gap left him with almost no room to escape, the cyclist quickly abandoned his bicycle and climbed over the guardrail. He threw himself onto the other side just seconds before the trailer passed through the spot where he had been standing. The bicycle appeared to be squeezed against the roadside barrier as the truck continued making the turn.
