Yaoundé, Cameroon - October 05, 2026 Chinese teachers and volunteers with the Confucius Institute at the University of Yaounde II promote Mandarin language and culture across Cameroon, Yaounde, October 5, 2026. Jointly established by Zhejiang Normal University and the University of Yaounde II, the institute has grown over nearly two decades into a network of 14 teaching sites across eight Cameroonian cities, with cumulative enrollment surpassing 148,000 students.
