Billy Idol inducted to Hollywood Rockwalk.

The rock legend and his longtime guitarist Steve Stevens are the latest inductees to receive the honour. "I began in 1976 so it is 50 years!" Idol told On The Red Carpet. "It is kind of a fantastic thing that a lot of these honours are happening this year." Idol was given the American Music Awards Lifetime Achievement Award in May. He has also been voted into the 2026 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The induction ceremony takes place later this year.
