Why Don't We Get Discounts For Electricity Bill #Shorts

So here I am making do with myself. Going into town. And by the way, the municipalities are the same way. They have even less time. Like, the electric companies got rid of all the meter readers in our area, and I think they're getting close to that with, you know, they have built in electricity, and they made them all wireless, so you don't have to have a meter reader. So that should make a savings, right? Because you don't have to pay that labor. No. They have a $25 minimum meter charge every month. No discount. If you notice that your electric bill is going down because you done went to efficient, energy efficient appliances, LED bulbs. So, you know, I think what happens is, Corporations just look at numbers management just says, well, let's see if we can charge this much now, this much now, this much until somebody says, I can't do it. And electric company really doesn't have much in the way of regulatory commissions telling them what they can and cannot do. They just gradually go up. Do you ever notice your insurance company go down? Doesn’t matter? I have never had my insurance company go down. I always had to change insurance companies and then they they come back with lower price period. I can tell you more than two companies that I've been with for years. They just slowly go up. And then when I change companies to another one, they go back down cheaper than the one that I went to. Do you think about that? So these corporations. Are not thinking about people. They are just thinking about numbers. And I'm sorry. But those, you know, those I'm not going to say. But those companies have lost their ability. To understand the human being, particularly a human being who doesn't have a lot of money. They just like, I have an opportunity. I'm going to take it. Isn't that what a thief does? And that's the same mentality of a thief. I have an opportunity. I'm going to take it. And I can charge that. Let's see what happens. You know, the only thing is, it's not against the law to charge too much. They can say no. The reason they're not saying no is because since 1962, we've been telling all the children you need to go to college and don't even think about hooking up with their construction workers. They don't think that they don't get paid nothing because they just they just not getting paid. It ain't right. The union always used to brag, well, you get paid more with us, but you know what? You're on slow crawl. They can. They tell you how long you've got to be with them before you get a raise? Has nothing to do with how much you've learned. You know, when you went to school and taught yourself and put your hands on work. It has. How much time you've been there? Period. I'm disappointed, and there's not much I can do about it. I'm sorry for all these companies that became corporations, people that became corporations like Sam Walton and Walmart. They have done what they can to try to replace employees. And they didn't work out self-checkout. No discount. You don't get a discount. So people just find ways to get around and make money. Putting in banana pound weight prices for shrimp. If you think about that, it's what you get.
