All my travels will come to the town of Natural Dam name because of that dam. Mr. Larimore, founded in 1819 while he was hunting, he liked it so much he built a gristmill here in the 1820s, and then later on he built a church. And then people liked the gristmill and the church and everything. They come from 50 miles away. They decided to build a town. So they built up all around this natural dam that's right here. And that was rectangular rocks on the other side over there where that gristmill was. Now, real important back then.
