How to Tar Metal Roof #Shorts

So we're putting the tar, which this case is a big bucket, and we're seal around. The outside edge is covering the screws. And we're not going to rely on that to be all that we need. We're going to put the elastomeric coating right there on it. Now I'm using just the cheapy spatula from a dollar tree. So I don't have to spend a lot of money. And I'm going to throw it away when I'm done. But we're going around all the vents and around the gutter. Any kind of seam, that might be a problem. We actually have a patch here. That a tree limb fell through the roof. We're going to seal that up with tar and then put the elastomeric coating over it.
