Build A Deck Setup #Shorts

So to catch you up, we're building an eight foot by eight foot deck. And, we're building around couple of these that are over there. So one of them anyway. So what I did was at the length was 8 foot and a half inch, and I cut it down, marked it to be 3.25in less than 8 foot. The reason I did that is because I want the two boards on the outside to cover the edges. So you don't see them. Only on the front. Don't see it against the front of the office. Happens. But anyway, that's what I'm doing. What I did was I laid it out so that when you pull from the finish one inch and a half out here, it would fall out 16in to the center here. So I went back three quarters. Three quarters to this edge. And then I use this to the speed square. Not a speed square, square to mark it. And I actually can mark both sides with people like that.
