Disney is pushing pause on its live action Tangled remake

But the project's future is uncertain, largely due to the controversy surrounding Snow White

Remaking beloved classics could guarantee a built-in audience, and with Disney Plus always needing fresh content, it's a strategic move to draw in subscribers

As for Tangled, it's unclear if the project will be reworked or quietly shelved altogether
