MAGA split on Israel-Iran conflict

Members of the MAGA movement are split on whether the U.S. should get involved in Israel's ongoing war with Iran

Several MAGA leaders, such as Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene and political pundit Tucker Carlson

have made it very clear they don't want the United States involved

Greene has fired off several tweets on the subject, saying, quote, Americans want cheap gas, groceries, bills and housing

She goes on to say not going into a foreign war. Green also put out a post defending Carlson, who said President Donald Trump is complicit in the act of war

Carlson sat down with former Trump adviser Steve Bannon, who shares similar thoughts

This is exactly the same pitch as the Iraq war. Weapons of mass destruction

You have to get it. So they understand one thing. They think the playbook works

This is why we have to stop it now. If we don't stop it now, it's going to work all the time

The president responded on Truth Social, calling Carlson kooky and saying Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon

On the other side, Fox News commentator and longtime Trump supporter Mark Levin has been pushing for the president to allow Israel to strike Iran

Now, it's not a complicated issue. Under no circumstances should Iran get a nuclear weapon

That's the Trump position, the MAGA position, the Reaganite position, the RINO position

the position of everybody who has two brain cells to rub together

Vice President J.D. Vance is also backing his boss, saying, quote, he may decide he needs to take further action to end Iranian enrichment

That decision ultimately belongs to the president. So far, both Israel and the U.S. say America has not been involved in U.S. strikes on Iran
