There's a lot of great things about California, but raising a family is not easy here

The billionaire In-N-Out owner and heiress, Lindsay Snyder, is packing up and moving her family from California to Tennessee

While Snyder says In-N-Out will remain a major presence and staple in California

she's looking to take some business to the South. The company is building a second headquarters in Franklin, Tennessee

Snyder says it should open next year and she'll be overseeing company operations and is looking to expand there

Snyder made the comment that business isn't easy in California. The company closed one of its longtime California stores last year

After 18 years, In-N-Out shuttered its Oakland location, citing rising crime. It was the only store ever closed in the company's 77-year history

And while the company is making strides to expand in Tennessee, Snyder says In-N-Out will strategically remain a West Coast novelty

Snyder says the first In-N-Out restaurant for Tennessee is expected to open next year
