Long before Merstrand was a thriving coastal city, its shores bore witness to the arrival of a warrior whose name would echo through Balrosan history, Eirik Ironfist. Hailing from the icy fjords of the Northlands, Eirik was a legend even before setting foot in Balrosa. A warrior of unmatched strength, wielding an axe said to be blessed by the gods, he was a man feared in battle and revered by his kin. His journey to Balrosa was one of destiny. When word of King Ulfric’s struggles against raiders and internal strife reached the Northlands, Eirik saw it as a call from the gods.
