2025 is a record year for measles in the U.S.
The U.S. just broke a record for annual measles cases. There have been more cases so far in 2025 than in any other year since 2019, when 1,274 cases were reported. In this video, we learn about how the latest outbreak started, what makes measles so incredibly contagious, and what role vaccine hesitancy has played in the resurgence of the disease.
