Are the Pistons In a Better Spot Than the Knicks Are?

Joe Ostrowski isn't very confident in the New York Knicks heading into their series against the Boston Celtics, and wonders if perhaps even though the Knicks beat the Pistons to advance, are the Pistons set up better in the future?
