Sky Coach Reveals First Message to Angel Reese After Taking Chicago Job

Chicago Sky head coach Tyler Marsh says that Reese is evolving into more than just a glass cleaner, as he revealed his plans to improve her efficiency. As per Marsh, when he took over in Chicago, his first message to Angel Reese was simple as he said: “I think the thing that I’m most proud of is, you know, one of the first conversations that I had with her when I got the job was, I was like, ‘Look, we’re going to we’re going to get your efficiency up.’ I was like, ‘It may look a little bit different in how you do it, your offensive rebounds may be down a little bit, but that’s because your efficiency is going to be up, but I need your defensive rebounds to stay the same or, you know, or get better’.” Fast-forward to now and while her Offensive boards may be slightly down, she’s finishing stronger at 46% from the field and upping her defensive rebounding game.
