Charles Barkley Warns NBA About Fans’ Breaking Point Over Load Management
Oct 4, 2025
NBA legend Charles Barkley criticized the league’s approach to load management, calling it a disservice to fans. Barkley highlighted how top players with massive salaries often sit out games, saying, “We have about seven players making around $70 million. In the next three or four years, we’re going to have guys making 80, 90, 100 million a year. And then when these guys say, ‘I can’t play two days in a row’. I say, ‘Yo, man, we just can’t keep cr**ping on the fans’.” He also called out confusing broadcast schedules, emphasizing that players and the league need to prioritize fans’ experience. Chuck’s message is clear: NBA stars must show they care about the fans who support them.
