Angel Reese Publicly Apologizes to Sky Teammates for Critical Comments

Angel Reese found herself on the defensive after a Chicago Tribune piece quoted her blasting the Sky’s struggles and calling for “great players.” Reports said her teammates weren’t happy, forcing a potential locker room huddle to discuss the issue. And since then, Reese has apologized publicly saying parts of the story were taken out of context and that she never meant to put down her roster as she said: “So I want to apologize to my teammates, which I already have, about the article and how it was misconstrued. I just have to be better with my language because I know it's not the messenger, and understanding what I say can be taken any kind of way, so I just have to really be better and grow from this.”
