This is a reason why cheetahs can't roar #shorts
Sep 3, 2023
Cheetahs are unable to roar because they lack the specialized larynx and hyoid apparatus that are necessary for producing the deep, low-frequency vocalizations of big cats such as lions, tigers, and leopards.
Instead, cheetahs communicate with a variety of sounds, including growls, hisses, chirps, and purrs. They also use body language and scent marking to communicate with other cheetahs and to establish territory.
It's worth noting that cheetahs are unique among big cats in several ways. They are the fastest land animals, capable of reaching speeds of up to 70 miles per hour. They are also more slender and less muscular than other big cats, which makes them better suited for sprinting and chasing down prey over short distances rather than overpowering larger prey through brute force.
