Elephants in Yala National Park
Nov 9, 2022
Yala National Park is the most visited and second largest national park in Sri Lanka, bordering the Indian Ocean. The park consists of five blocks, two of which are now open to the public, and also adjoining parks.
Yala provides habitats to about 300 elephants. They mainly live as small to moderate herds. These animals are considerably small in body size compared to the animals found in northwest and east. The reason is due to very harsh conditions in the dry season. #safari #safaricamping #yalanationalpark #documentary
