Family Outing to START the Season

Season 1 is where I started acquiring fishing gear such as fishing hooks, artificial lures, fishing rods, and fishing reels. Back when I was a child, my father used to bring me out with him to fish because it is his hobby and he wanted me to experience traditional fishing too. But recently he passed away from covid, and this past few weeks my youtube feed showed me Richard Molina fishing in the open sea and catch several big fish using a fishing rod, reel, and jigging lure. He inspired me and reminds me how happy I am during that time with my father. Although my father isn't a fisherman it was his hobby too. This is where I find out that watching out other fishermen enjoy the fishing I said to myself, why not do it now? I decided to start with a medium-heavy setup to gauge out how different this fishing rod and reel combo to traditional fishing where I and my father used to fish when I was young.
