hello Sinners this is IM Moses of ss.com
0:13
here with a review of Titanfall on the
0:16
Xbox 360 the game released last Tuesday
0:19
April 8th
0:20
2014 after it was delayed an additional
0:23
2 weeks by respawn after they had some
0:25
performance concerns with the game uh
0:28
the original goal for the 360 version
0:30
was to be a direct translation from the
0:33
Xbox one uh and you will see that that
0:36
their game has no lack of features from
0:38
the Xbox One version on the 360 version
0:41
uh Titanfall itself is your standard
0:43
firstperson shooter game with the same
0:46
basic controls and game play uh that you
0:49
would come to expect uh with a first
0:51
person shooter um one difference with
0:55
the game is that it's multiplayer only
0:57
and there is no single player campaign
0:59
campign as of right now uh the
1:02
multiplayer campaign is basically the
1:05
online matchmaking system with some
1:06
commentary over the top uh which makes
1:09
you know it fills you in on the plot but
1:11
at the same time it's not very unique uh
1:15
the matchmaking system itself is six on
1:17
six uh with a ranking system similar to
1:20
that of Call of Duty meaning there are
1:21
levels with a Prestige the weapon system
1:25
of the game is uh also similar to that
1:28
of Call of Duty where you unlock lock
1:30
the weapons with rank but attachments
1:32
are via challenges this is very this is
1:35
identical to the system used on Modern
1:37
Warfare 2 um several years ago so one
1:41
critique that uh a lot of people have
1:43
about this game and you can tell uh is
1:46
the grunts and deceptor the non-playable
1:50
characters basically uh there are a lot
1:53
of bots online once you're playing
1:55
attrition or any other game mode and
1:58
they contribute to the score depending
2:00
on which game mode you are playing but
2:02
they do contribute to the score and
2:03
people claim that this makes the game
2:04
too easy uh I have a different view upon
2:09
that uh they just implemented a new
2:12
matchmaking system which has a undefined
2:15
skill where you are paired up with
2:18
players that have similar play Styles
2:20
and similar skills and it makes the game
2:23
much more challenging you know there's
2:25
no easy games you don't play a game that
2:28
you absolutely destroy people that have
2:31
never played before it doesn't happen
2:33
anymore at least on the Xbox One version
2:35
and uh since the game is identical 360
2:37
version will be coming up to speed very
2:39
soon
2:41
um respawn is constantly updating and
2:44
improving the game they've already had
2:46
several uh weapon balances and Titan
2:50
balances so they're trying to make the
2:52
game as Fair as possible for all players
2:55
and in my opinion they're doing a
2:57
fantastic job with that so let's go on
2:59
to to the actual 360 version and get
3:02
specific here
3:04
um the game runs very very smoothly
3:07
there is not a lot of screen tearing
3:10
there's not a real loss of
3:12
detail
3:14
um you know we're 7 years I'm sorry not
3:18
7even nine years into the 360 cycle the
3:22
game developers are really utilizing all
3:24
that 360 has to offer unfortunately it's
3:27
not as good as the Xbox One the Xbox one
3:29
doesn't much more clarity in the picture
3:32
and the smoothness and frame rate drops
3:34
are not as drastic on three on the Xbox
3:36
One compared to the 360 uh but that's
3:39
just what you expect from a lack of
3:41
horsepower uh there is minor screen
3:43
tearing visible on the 360 especially
3:45
when you have four or five Titans all in
3:48
one small area you'll notice that there
3:51
is a lot of screen tearing which is
3:53
unfortunate they do have an option you
3:55
can set uh for 30 HZ where the game will
3:59
quote unquote
4:00
run better in my opinion it doesn't make
4:03
the game feel better because of the lack
4:05
of smoothness at that point um it's not
4:09
ideal in my opinion so I just turn it
4:11
off and let the game Run and suck it up
4:14
when there's a lot of action going on uh
4:17
the parkour aspect of the game
4:20
is fundamentally completely different
4:23
from any first person shooter there are
4:24
is no other game like this the parkour
4:27
really is effective at traveling these
4:30
large Maps very very quickly as you just
4:33
go over buildings around instead of
4:34
around
4:35
them uh and it also helps you strategize
4:39
better and attack Titans as you know
4:43
there most players aren't going to be
4:45
looking on top of buildings constantly
4:47
for other other pilots and uh you know
4:51
that that really makes the game special
4:54
in my opinion uh so once you play for
4:58
maybe a couple minutes
5:00
you'll end up getting your Titan and the
5:02
Titan is really just an extension of the
5:04
pilot respawn claims that that is how
5:07
they designed it and they nailed it spot
5:10
on uh aiming just moving around in your
5:14
Titan it feels as if you are the Titan
5:17
which is
5:19
outstanding uh one gripe I do have about
5:21
the game on the 360 I'm sorry on the
5:23
Xbox One is the controller the
5:25
controller doesn't meant like it's meant
5:26
for a first person shooter the 360
5:28
controller feels a a little more natural
5:30
in my hands probably because I've played
5:31
for many more years um and that's a huge
5:34
concern of mine on the Xbox one because
5:37
I do love trigger feedback uh in the
5:39
vibration but it makes the game kind of
5:41
hard to play so as you can probably tell
5:45
I'm doing pretty well compared to
5:47
everyone else in the game at this point
5:50
and uh the I I feel like the 360
5:53
controller just feels more natural and
5:55
I'm able to be more precise in my shots
5:58
and control the game better
6:02
um yeah as far as that goes I'm going to
6:05
pull up a graphic comparison in just a
6:07
moment of the Xbox 360 compared to the
6:10
Xbox one you'll notice that the Xbox One
6:13
graphically looks much better I do have
6:15
a couple options in needed on the Xbox
6:17
One such as deeper uh
6:20
color spectrum I suppose um I think it's
6:24
32 color bit instead of 24 uh it really
6:27
makes the game pop out much more there's
6:30
the blacks are much deeper and the
6:32
colors are more vibrant um so I will
6:34
give the Xbox One hands down better
6:36
graphics but the game is running at a
6:38
funky resolution of
6:40
792p uh and the Xbox 360 only runs at
6:43
720p so on the PC you win uh the
6:47
graphics are hands down much much better
6:52
than the 360 or the one but the game is
6:55
still a lot of fun on the Xbox 360 and
6:57
the Xbox one so I hope you enjoyed this
7:00
review and I will shut up and get out of
7:02
your hair so that you can enjoy uh the
7:05
comparison video of the Xbox 360 versus
7:07
the Xbox One
7:34
okay your tight start for launch call it
7:35
when ready
7:39
transfering rock and
7:44
roll control to
7:48
Pilot that trick
7:52
nice all right
8:23
the will be heading towards back Point
8:26
don't let them escap warning
8:29
attacking
