1. The Birth of Moses
Exodus 2:3-5
In this passage, Moses' mother places him in a basket and sets it among the reeds along the bank of the Nile to save him from the Pharaoh's decree to kill all Hebrew baby boys. The Pharaoh's daughter finds Moses in the basket while she is bathing in the river.
