Bethlehem - Known as the birthplace of Jesus Christ according to the New Testament, Bethlehem is located in the West Bank, Palestinian territories. It remains a focal point for Christian pilgrims.
Nazareth - Also in the present-day State of Israel, Nazareth is celebrated as the place where Jesus spent his childhood and adolescence. It is a center of Christian pilgrimage with several shrines commemorating biblical events.
