Waterval Boven is a small town on the banks of the Eland River in Mpumalanga South Africa. The town is typically above Eland Falls hence its Dutch name for “above the waterfall”. Waterval Boven has several historical sites including Nzasm Tunnel and the Five Arch Bridge, declared National Monuments and Provincial Heritage Resources.
