Crown prince pumpkin with romanesco
Mar 28, 2024
I had never done anything with either of these vegetables. And so a first time for everything, including cooking! The Crown prince has a very nice mint greenish color on the outside. If you then cut it open, you will see a beautiful bright orange inside with very large seeds. The romanesco is actually a kind of cross between a cauliflower and broccoli. Beautiful pointed roses that lend themselves to nice decoration on your plate. By the way, did you know that if he doesn't stay in the shade, he turns red? The leaf that surrounds the romanesco protects it from the sun. In this recipe you actually see very little of the beautiful towers because we are going to make a delicious cream with it!
