hey everybody in this video tutorial i'm
0:02
gonna show you how to add a facebook ad
0:04
account to a facebook business manager
0:06
account now also called the meta
0:09
business suite this is just gonna be a
0:11
quick video tutorial so if you wanna get
0:13
more details about the facebook ad
0:15
accounts or now called meta ad accounts
0:18
then check out our more detailed blog
0:20
posts on ryhacks.com where we also share
0:23
some additional information that we're
0:25
not going to mention in this video you
0:26
can also find hundreds of tutorials
0:28
there on social media and facebook ads
0:31
for absolutely free one more thing
0:33
before this tutorial if you want to
0:34
audit your facebook ad account to get
0:36
higher facebook ads return on ad spend
0:39
then check out our facebook ads audit
0:41
checklist that you can download from our
0:42
website roihacks.com
0:45
and now it's completely free
0:47
links to the 56.3 checklist in the
0:49
description below alright so as you
0:52
probably know uh facebook business
0:54
manager has been renamed to meta
0:56
business suite but not everybody has
0:58
been switched to this new meta business
1:01
suite but whether you use the metal
1:03
business suite or meta business manager
1:05
you have to arrive to this page on the
1:08
facebook business manager account and
1:10
you can get here by
1:12
going to the business settings page
1:14
first
1:14
which is uh
1:16
business.facebook.com slash settings if
1:19
you're using the facebook business
1:21
manager it's uh also in the menu these
1:24
are interface of this meta business
1:26
suite keeps changing but you have to
1:29
find this business settings page and
1:32
then on this business settings page
1:33
under accounts you have to click on add
1:35
accounts and here's where you can add a
1:38
meta or as everybody calls it a facebook
1:41
ad account to a facebook business
1:42
manager and as you can see here is
1:45
one account that is already added and
1:47
here's the add button
1:49
that we have to click if you haven't
1:51
added any ad accounts yet to this
1:53
business manager then you will see the
1:55
add button somewhere in the middle here
1:58
so in this case you have to click on
2:00
this ad and as you can see here you have
2:02
three options so if you want you can
2:04
also create a new facebook ad account
2:06
here as you can see this is the option
2:09
and then you have two other options
2:11
which are a little bit different so let
2:13
me explain them so if you have already
2:15
created an ad account and this ad
2:17
account is your business's ad account so
2:21
you own this hadn't count in this case
2:23
you have to select this add an ad
2:25
account option as facebook says here
2:27
your business will control campaigns and
2:28
bidding for this ad account claiming an
2:30
ad account moves it into the business
2:32
manager so in this case if you own the
2:35
ad account you have to click on this one
2:37
if you are working as an agency or as a
2:40
freelancer and you want to manage the
2:42
campaigns of your clients then you have
2:45
to request access to a facebook ad
2:47
account as facebook says here your
2:48
business needs to use this ad account on
2:50
behalf of another business
2:52
video i also have a separate tutorial
2:54
when i go through the steps of
2:56
requesting access to facebook account
2:58
but now we'll focus on this option so
3:01
click on add an ad account and in this
3:03
case
3:04
you have to add the account id of your
3:07
ad account so if you don't know how to
3:09
find the ad account id of a facebook ad
3:12
account let me show you but when we find
3:15
it all we have to do is copy the ad
3:16
account here and
3:18
paste it here and click on add account
3:21
add add account and the metadata account
3:23
or the facebook ad account will be added
3:25
to your facebook business manager slash
3:27
meta business suite
3:29
so how to find a set account id i just
3:31
have a separate tutorial in it but
3:34
let me show you the quick process now so
3:37
you have to do is open up so if you
3:39
don't know the id of your facebook ad
3:41
account it's really easy to find out all
3:43
you have to do is open up basically
3:44
facebook ads manager then go to the
3:47
section where you can create and
3:50
edit existing campaigns and all you have
3:53
to do is basically have a look at this
3:56
section as you can see test account and
3:58
this is uh the number that is the id of
4:00
our facebook ad account by the way you
4:02
can also see it in the url so if you are
4:06
another page you can also check this act
4:08
equals two and the number that starts
4:11
with an eight and this is your ad
4:12
account id and all you have to do is
4:14
copy this
4:15
and go back to the business settings
4:17
section and add this or paste this id
4:19
and click on add add account and your
4:22
facebook ad account will be added to the
4:24
meta business suite before we would wrap
4:26
up just make sure to check out our free
4:28
facebook ads audit checklist so you can
4:30
get 56 checkpoints we use to
4:32
consistently find opportunities to
4:35
increase the return on ad spend of
4:37
facebook ads campaigns we are planning
4:39
to charge money for this checklist in
4:40
the future so get it now for free until
4:43
you can you can get the checklist by
4:44
clicking on the link in the description
4:46
below or search on google for ioi
4:48
hacks.com and add the keywords facebook
4:50
ads or the checklist spreadsheet and
4:53

4:55
google also if you want to learn more
4:57
about running and optimizing facebook
4:59
ads campaigns make sure you check out
