favorite things about a trending topic, and then you tell us who made the best list

Or who's on top. All right, so Mikayla, today we're going to be ranking our top five favorite breakfast cereals

I love breakfast. Now, there's already a list over at Ranker.com, where hundreds of thousands of people have already voted

with the general public's list. So Mikayla, what is your number five

favorite breakfast cereal of all time? My number five favorite breakfast cereal of all time

is Ranker's number 26, which is Life Cereal. Life. Gives you life

Let's get a bite of this life. I think Life is like a very hearty breakfast cereal

Because you know how the whole sugar cereals don't really fill you up? It's kind of true

But this is the one that's like, OK, I'm full. I'm ready to take on the day. I'd eat this for lunch

You do have the ability to put fruit on it and like, you put strawberries, bananas, blueberries

whatever it is, and it's kind of a new cereal, and it's even better for you

And this is the cereal that gives you the illusion that you're eating healthy. Yes

Life cereal I had, I think, every day for like six years

until I was like 10, and then my parents let me get like, junk cereal

Okay, so my number five is Ranker's number seven, the Cap'n, Cap'n Crunch

It might be my number one favorite flavor of cereal. The only reason why you have to dock it is because if you eat a full box of Cap'n Crunch in one sitting

Which I could Which I absolutely couldn't have You learn the lesson of your mouth just gets cut up

I do like to let my cereal get a little bit soggy for that reason I kind of drown it with my spoon a little bit

I kind of just push it down Yeah But it's oh it's so good It's just such a like

It's so sweet but it's not too sweet like some other cereals where you're like Jesus

This is the definition of I could eat this by the box ball Yeah But you can't

But you can't. Even if you let it soak the whole time, it's going to cut your mouth. And your mom will yell at you Yeah We just got this box of Captain Crunch And you say sorry sorry mom This is Cap My number four is actually Ranker number 25 which is Cookie Crisp Cookie Crisp

You have to say it like that. I know. Cookie Crisp. This to me is the definition of sugar cereal

when you're a kid. And it's like, your mom doesn't really let you buy the cereal all the time

This is not constantly in the house. You wonder if Cookie Crisp was designed

This is a serial conspiracy, a conspiracy. I wonder if Cookie Crisp was designed by the people

who make like Cap'n Crunch and, you know, Trix and stuff as like, hey

we'll actually sell more Cap'n Crunch and Trix because in, but in comparison

It is the, it's the compromise. Yeah, it's not literally cookies, which is actually why in my opinion

I was extremely let down by Cookie Crisp all throughout my life

All I know is when I was like six and this came out, I wasn't allowed to have it for years

because they're literally cookies. When I finally did have it, I was like, this

It's so good. This is what I've been jonesing for for the last 40% of my life

I don't approve of your number four. Anyways, I love Cookie Crisp

Cookie Crisp. Okay, so my number four is rankers number 45, Frosted Cheerios

What I find interesting about Frosted Cheerios is this is like the ugly stepchild of the Cheerios family

where like Honey Nut and Apple Cinnamon Cheerios and just straight up regular Cheerios

Everybody's like, oh, I love those. I've talked to people before who haven't heard of Frosted Cheerios

I think I prefer Frosted Cheerios to most Cheerios, but I'm not a Cheerio gal

It's kind of boring to me. It feels like what you give to babies

when they're like starting to eat salad food. It's a simple cereal. They tell you what the flavor is

It's sugar. It's Cheerios, but with a bunch of sugar on it. Because that's what people did to regular Cheerios

They just put sugar on it, and they're like, what if we put it, what if we did it? All right, so my number three is actually rankers number one

Cinnamon Toast Crunch. C.T. Crunch. Crave those crazy squares. This is the collective people's favorite

and it a damn good cereal I have to say I think this cereal also a little bit overrated What What Hold up I like Cinnamon Toast Crunch It does not deserve the hands number one title I just I don think this is better than Cap Crunch

You have to admit, though, they're really pretty. Like, each of them has, like, a good, like, cinnamon-y, sugary design

You know they're all unique? Like snowflakes. Okay, so my number three is Ranker's number 19, Raisin Bran

This is shocking, I imagine, to a lot of people. So, why raisin bran is my number three

Raisins are, to me, a weirdly gross food. But then I remembered, what are raisins but grapes

They start off as grapes, then they turn into the raisins doing some sort of scientific process

But I love grapes! I do too, I love grapes. Grapes are fantastic

Raisins are weird! Raisins are grapes! What I love about raisin bran is it tastes really good and you feel really good about yourself when you eat it

When I eat raisin bran, I'm like, wow, I am a really good person

They should rename this cereal to Raisin Bland. There's no sweetness. There is absolutely sweetness

It's covered in sugar and the natural sugar you get from raisins

It's bland. It's not. It's delicious. It's my number three. I don't like it

All right, so my number two is Ranker's number eight, Captain Crunch Berries

You know, the goods. I'm a big fan of Captain Crunch, but something about these little berries really added extra pizzazz

They actually do have different flavors. Yes. It is a different cereal

You know what? Actually, I would just like to take a moment to appreciate Captain Crunch as a whole

They don't miss. We have regular Captain Crunch, fantastic. Captain Crunch Crunch Berries, fantastic

Peanut butter, also amazing. I kind of forgot about that one. That one is super, super good

And then just the oops all berries. I feel like they just keep making hits, hits only

This cereal is just, ugh, can make a sad girl very happy

Okay, so my number two is Ranker's number 26 and your number five, Life Cereal

Okay, I respect it. Basically the only fun cereal I was allowed to eat as a kid

Meanwhile what I love so much about that is this is just covered in sugar There so much sugar on Life Cereal Yeah there so much sugar on Life Cereal I think it almost like underrated because when you think of like oh what are the best cereals

It's like people don't think about life. As an adult, I really, really appreciate the Life Cereals

The one reason why it's not number one for me though, they used to always have like a smiling kid on the cover

And they would change the kid all the time. And I really enjoyed that because I would be like seven years old

And I'd be like you and me both pal. We're both enjoying this cereal. So my number one is rankers number 12

Honey bunches of oats Mm-hmm. I actually like that. Yeah, it's good. I do love me some honey bunches of oats

There's so many different things happening in a bowl of honey bunches of oats. It looks healthy

And it's another it looks healthy. It's as a kid I did not eat it because I was like it looks too healthy that looks like an adult cereal

I don't want it. And then once I think I hit probably like, I think like 11 or something, I finally ate a bowl

and I was like, this is the best thing that's ever happened to me in my entire life. This is a very high density cereal

Very, yeah. There's lots going on. And again, it makes me feel like, oh, I had a great breakfast

How you feel about Honey Bunch of the Oats is exactly how I felt about Raisin Bran

the first time I had it. My entire life, I was like, I don't want that. That's for like, that's for like moms and dads

And then I had Raisin Bran, I was like, this is delightful. Yeah, this is absolutely delightful

Because I'm always like, oh, I was always a big Captain Crunch fan or whatever. But then I'm also like, as an adult

like as a full grown human, I will, I'll eat this every day

So my number one is Ranker's number six, Fruity Pebbles, Barney! Barney my pebbles

I love the taste of Fruity Pebbles so much. This is a cereal too where it's like

I don't like when it's completely soaked in milk and gets soggy, but it gets really good towards the bottom

with the ones who have been sitting in the milk for a minute or two. What flavor is Fruity Pebbles

Does this taste like fruit? Not really. No. Kind of sugar? It tastes like sugar, which surprise, surprise

is what every cereal really tastes like. It's one that it's definitely when you're a kid

you're like, when I'm an adult, I'm gonna only eat Fruity Pebbles every day
