Ranking The Best Fried Chicken Of All Time (Jollibee, Chick-Fil-A, KFC)

And this is Who's on Top, the show where we each rank our top five favorite things about an exciting topic

and then you tell us who made the best list. Or who's on top? OK, so today, Mikayla, we are going

to be ranking the top five fried chicken ever, of all time in the world

I love fried chicken. You love some fried chicken? But it makes me feel so sick after I eat it

But it is so damn good. And also, sometimes they make them kind of like healthier looking now

Yeah. So I'm like, is that fried chicken? I don't know. And it's like, it is fried chicken

I'm really excited for this one now. I am too. My number five is Rikers number five

And I've only had this place once. And with you, Zaxby's. Zaxby's

I had it that one time with you when we went on a road trip. You were like, you got to try Zaxby's

It's so good. Yeah. And it was. It was so incredible. I will say this about the southeast United States

Yeah. They make some fried chicken. Yeah. And they make it good. And I was looking at the list and there are so many places I've never ever tried because I'm a West Coast gal

But I really like what I had there was good and I also liked that their menu included things such as salads

Yeah, everything has a Z. Try one of our meals with a Z. Or our chicken fingers with a Z. Everything's with a Z

But salads is... Zalads was hilarious to me. And it's hard not to order one just because you want to say it to the person

Yeah, but that fried chicken is really good. No, it's fantastic. I wish that we had one out by us

But we don't. What's your number five? My number five was Ranker's number seven, which I'm shocked it was number seven

I'm actually kind of shocked it was my number five. The Colonel KFC. Okay. KFC is really really good. Yeah, I agree

And they as far as I know, I just associate with them, invented the bucket

Yeah, you know you do think about the bucket with them. They're like, what's the most usable

Yeah, I think we could put our chicken in. It's like a bucket. It's so iconic. I love that their whole like theme is like he a white tux wearing Colonel in what war I not sure Because there a chance this was not the war you want to be a colonel in They my number five though because KFC I do have to say this has gone a little bit downhill

Not at your standards? There's less chicken in the fried chicken. Although I love

Maybe they stopped feeding the chicken some bad stuff. Yeah, maybe it's healthier

But their popcorn chicken, I can just eat that light-shaped popcorn all day

My number four is rankers number two, Popeyes. Popeye, love that chicken from Popeyes

Literally, my note on this is great jingle. And I also love their commercials. But speaking of little popcorn chicken

they're the best little popcorn chickens. It's been a long time since I've had Popeyes

but Popeyes is definitely something that obviously is all over. But out here, they have a bunch of two

which is like so many of the places on the ranker list. I've never seen them, but I see Popeyes

And Popeyes is great. And that's, I think, the first place I ever tried shrimp too

because it was fried in their little popcorn shrimp. I was going to say, Popeye's has seafood

Yeah, which is kind of gross to think about. I think just fast food and seafood, to me, just shouldn't be

Yeah, I really do wonder that. Who's like, I'm going to go get some really cheap seafood

that's not going to give me food poisoning. And it's really only seafood that I feel like I'm always going to get food poisoning

Yeah, right? But Popeye's fried chicken is just fantastic. It is fantastic. They got some biscuits

Louisiana. Yeah. So my number four was ranked as number five, Zaxby's

I do think that the salads just are fantastic, and the sandwiches are fantastic

And if you're gonna get a Meals, one of the big Meals, I would better end with a Z

But at Zaxby's is just fantastic and it's always a treat to go there

It is always a treat to go to Zaxby's. No. I'd like to go again. I would love to stop at Zaxby's again

My number three is rankers number one, Chick-fil-A. Ooh. Here's the thing. Yeah

I didn't even really think, oh, Chick-fil-A fried chicken. Yeah. Until on the list it was voted number one

I had to put it in the middle because I love Chick-fil-A. I think it fantastic but I don know if it fried chicken in my head you know Which is interesting because it is fried chicken There really no way you can say that it not Yeah no it fried chicken but it feels kind of like it like I don know it like baked or something

It does feel healthier. I like the Chick-fil-A sauce. That's another thing they got there

is the Chick-fil-A sauce. And they're selling that, that was at like Target and stuff. Yeah, that's a good move by them

What's your number three? My number three, ranker's number nine, Jollibee. Okay

Now what I love about Jollibee is one, their fried chicken is fantastic. They also sell in the bucket too as well

But it's one of those places where, if you've never been there, you're kind of thrown off by the menu a little bit

I've never been there, but I know what it is. In addition to the fried chicken, if you go with the fried chicken, the side everybody gets is peach mango pie

You get these little... You know what? I like that. Because that feels like the perfect balance of flavors

Yeah, everywhere else it's fries. And you can get fries there as well. But they're really pushing the peach mango pie, and people who love Jolly Beat get the peach mango pie

Besides fried chicken, their next best seller is spaghetti. They have like a whole spaghetti menu

It's the perfect place. It's so fun. It's good. It's really good

And then the last thing that they sell to it are called burger steaks

Now granted, the pictures look disgusting, but they're delicious. They're really good and they go really well

with the beach men go by. We love our Jolly Bee. Even though I do have to say that the mascot for Jolly Bee

kind of scares the out of me. Is he a bee? It's a bee. Okay

But it's a red bee. The expression is too big to be stuck. Yeah

Always in the same expression where it's like, stop smiling at me clown. What's your number two

My number two is ranked as number three, Raisin Cane's. Ooh-wee! That's also my number two. Oh. Yeah

And no, it's so good they have the cane sauce, which again, it's like Chick-fil-A has the Chick-fil-A sauce

They got the cane sauce. I don't know which one I like better, but. I like cane sauce better than mine

just because absence makes the heart grow fonder. And we are about to have a Raisin Cane's near us, but

Yes, we don't have one yet. I haven had Raisin Cane since I went to school in Texas It so good I like their toasts that they have Oh Texas toast Why do people make regular toast Make Texas toast Texas toast has got it going on Yeah My number one is Ranker number seven Good old KFC The Colonel They have their little Christmas design in the bucket right now

Screw Starbucks. They have a better Christmas design. They do. This is very cute. But, you know

I just feel like growing up, this is what I thought about when I was like fried chicken. It's like

Oh yeah. The Colonel seasoning. This is in my head, what like the best fried chicken is. Mm-hmm

This is hitting the spot right now. We should get KFC more. Every time I have KFC, I'm like

why don't I get fried chicken more often? There's a reason it's so successful

It's so good. I love these pieces too. Yeah, how do you even eat that? Cause you're just, the only way to do it

Well, their fries are also fantastic, but that's unfair. We're not going to rank their fries. We got some of these, the nugs

They're, yeah, little attendees. Yeah, it's like looking at this, it's like, yeah

I guess this is fried chicken. But I don't even think about them as fried chicken. Oh my god

These are really good. Yeah, this feels healthier to me. I don't know why

This is closer to McDonald's, where it's like, I hate to kind of ruin Chick-fil-A a little bit

but they're clearly like kind of grounding up the chicken and then frying pieces of it

It's crazy if you think about it too, it's like we're eating four chickens right here. Why do I say that while I'm eating

Makes me feel alive. It's also kind of new in my... No, it's new. Definitely new

Like it blew up recently. Now there's Chick-fil-A's everywhere. Yeah, I feel like it can't be older than like 2010

Yeah, or it was probably older than that, but it blew up, like went nationwide

and really popular since then. Good stuff though. There's a reason why the people voted at number one
