1:20
you it's on it's on yep let's clip it in
1:25
can as we're talking and be able to hear
1:33
right but it's more of a a smaller MRE
1:37
it's more stripped down yeah um and I
1:40
don't know they're they're supposed to
1:42
be pretty good so we're going to we're
1:43
going to test it out so yeah I'm having
1:49
bridgeford ready to eat sandwiches yeah
1:52
it's the Italian sausage with sauce yeah
1:54
those are good um Extended shelf life no
2:01
required two individually wrapped
2:05
sandwiches great for hunting camping
2:07
hiking fishing boating household
3:31
need like a baked potato in
3:37
here sure I keep all my trash boed
3:56
up it's always a good
3:58
idea and you're working with stuff to
4:04
can what'll happen is you will lose it
4:08
especially on this forest floor
4:20
yeah there's my Striker
4:30
set that right in the
4:37
middle good thing the ground's really
4:39
wet the leaves are so I don't have to
4:41
worry about clearing off a lot of debris
5:30
in today's video we're going to be
5:31
looking at a budget survival knife from
5:33
station 9 a brand you may never have
5:36
heard of but I think after you see this
5:39
knife you're going to want one stick
7:15
got the shelter setup just a basic lean
7:17
to to cut the wind for the
7:20
afternoon could tuck up underneath it if
7:23
I wanted to spend the night but I would
7:26
probably change the configuration a
7:30
not have such a big opening unless I was
7:32
fire in the middle of the night to keep
8:36
so I just did a TR or a fork stick and
8:41
then longer stick on that to hold the
8:45
heavy branch on top of that to hold it
8:48
all down counter the weight and then
8:51
with this setup I'm able to boil
8:54
water to make soup I've got a stainless
8:58
steel cup so I can make
9:00
coffee another cool um product that I
9:04
just got um is from Atwood Atwood is a
9:08
US manufacturer here in Ohio um of parac
9:12
cord and other types of cordage elastic
9:14
cord micro cord Kevlar cord all kinds of
9:16
different stuff and this is their new um
9:22
have next products I wanted to talk
9:24
about are from father Nomad now I didn't
9:29
have a lot of knowledge of Father Nomad
9:31
he is someone who is on
9:35
Instagram so you got the built-in
9:37
clip and then that will clip into any
9:40
kind of webbing 1-in webbing or Molly
9:43
this is the one that um I think really
9:45
pequ my interest with his stuff because
9:48
I've never seen anything like this and I
9:49
thought it was such a great idea so what
9:52
we have here is a 3D printed um adapter
9:56
that goes on your um heavy cover canteen
10:01
your titanium canteen it allows you to
10:04
thread your Sawyer squeeze and other
10:07
types of soyer filters and other filters
10:10
directly onto your canteen let me show
10:43
today we're going to look at a very
10:45
affordable Bushcraft knife from BPS this
10:48
is going to be a quick rundown of this
11:03
so like I said the The Edge on this
11:07
fantastic um it needed some work and I
11:12
think anytime you buy a budget knife
11:14
except for a mora you're going to have
11:16
to spend some time um getting the edge
11:19
where you want it at
11:23
but it's totally possible if you
11:26
practice and what you're
14:24
what's great about that that feed door
14:27
is now you can just add bigger and
14:29
bigger stuff if you need
14:32
to sometimes you don't even need
15:00
you'll see his the designer's name I'm
15:03
just SP right here oh okay see it's
15:08
number that's a good
16:40
and the prices are awesome and they just
16:42
have a lot of cool Surplus stuff that I
16:45
just love going on their site I always
16:47
find something new or
16:57
noticed we've got new prepared wander
17:00
swag in the store store is down below in
17:07
video got two or three new designs
17:09
t-shirts mugs um all kinds of stuff and
17:12
stickers that helps support the channel
17:15
number three and don't worry I did not
17:22
maker Essie um if you're not familiar
17:26
with Essie you really need to check them
17:29
us company um that is producing probably
17:33
some of the finest uh semi- production
17:37
production fix blades um in the United
17:39
States right now um as far as wood
17:46
processing making curls feather
17:53
sticks of course that coating um poses
17:57
an issue for some people so what I do is
17:59
if you don't want to remove the coating
18:01
you just sand and file back the spine
18:04
and put a 90° spine on it with a fine
20:40
North we can start our own blade show
20:55
Ohio oh we bought so much stuff there mm
21:01
mhm it's part of the fun though there's
21:05
nowhere else where you go where you're
21:51
so I'm going to walk around a little bit
21:54
more and see if I can find a better spot
21:56
um but essentially for this I think um
21:59
I've covered enough at least uh this is
22:01
like the basis for what I'm going to be
22:04
doing this year if you like this kind of
22:06
content I will give a little plug here
