Propagating Plants from Tip Cuttings in Water

Summer is here, plants are actively growing. So that means now is a great time to take cuttings from some of your favorite plants to increase stock of them for your garden. Taking Tip Cuttings is a relatively fast process, and in this video I show exactly how to get them started in water and then transfer to your potting material, prepping them for larger containers or moving right into the soil of your garden. I propagated Persicaria 'Red Dragon' in this video, but some other favorite plants that work well with this technique are Coleus, Pothos, Fiddle Leaf Fig, Christmas Cactus, Begonia, Spider Plants, Jade, Geranium, Monstera, Philodendron, and Impatiens.
