Lewisia aka Cliff Maids - perfect for rock gardens, drought tolerant gardens and xeriscapes

Lewisia is one of those plants that stops you in your tracks when you see them. They're relatively small, succulent rosettes that put on a show with some of the most richly colored, ornate flowers of any outdoor succulent. They were originally found in the craggy rocks of the western USA a couple hundred years ago. Today, many lovely cultivars with exceptional colors can be found.
