How to Grow LIATRIS - from Bulbs & Potted Plants - North American Native Plant
Sep 30, 2026
Liatris is a well known North American Native plant that produces wonderful grassy tufts of foliage with incredibly exciting vertical flower spikes that emerge in late summer. These members of the Asteraceae family are excellent pollinator friendly plants that thrive in a variety of conditions.
In this video I provide some background information about these awesome plants and then go into detail on how to get them planted in your garden and showing updates for them as they progress throughout the summer growing season. These low maintenance, drought tolerant plants are long lived and will accentuate many of your other perennials and shrubs in your flower borders or native plant gardens. #nativeplants #ihavethisthingwithplants #gardening
