Book Review: The Blind Owl (part 1 of 3)

The Blind Owl is a classic novella by Iranian author Sadeq Hedayat in 1937, predated perhaps more famous existentialist works by Camus and Sartre. It's a dark tale. In this segment of the review, I focus on the overall flavour and tenor of the book. The book is presented in two parts. I discuss these in their own instalments.
