Semantic vs Syntax: Meaning and Sentence Structure
Apr 24, 2025
Semantics is meaning. Syntax is structure: the order and rules that build a sentence. This video shows how the two differ and how they work together in ordinary language.
A sentence can be grammatical and still mean the wrong thing, or be clear in meaning and broken in form. That split is the point. It is a language explainer, not the Power BI or computing videos.
Topics covered:
What semantics covers
What syntax covers
Meaning versus sentence structure
When structure helps or confuses intent
A simple way to tell them apart
This video is general education.
