Ingredients
2 large eggs
1 tbsp butter
Salt and pepper to taste
Optional: Fresh herbs (chives, parsley), cheese, or smoked salmon for filling
Instructions
Prepare Eggs: Crack the eggs into a bowl, add a pinch of salt, and beat them with a fork until smooth.
Heat the Pan: Use a nonstick skillet over medium-low heat. Melt the butter until it starts to foam but doesn’t brown.
Cook the Omelette: Pour the eggs into the pan. Use a spatula to stir the eggs gently while shaking the pan to keep the mixture moving.
Shape and Roll: Once the eggs begin to set but are still slightly runny, tilt the pan to one side and gently fold the omelette over itself.
Serve: Slide onto a plate. Garnish with herbs or your desired fillings.
