First thing I'm going to do is I'm going to straighten out my camera because it's
0:05
crooked right now. Hold on. Right now I'm driving close to the restaurants that I
0:13
know are quick and fast okay and that they get a lot of orders coming in so to
0:22
me those restaurants are right now Chick-fil-a and Panera Bread. It's lunchtime I think. Yeah it's semi-lunchtime. It's 1058 so I'm going to go in that area
0:38
and then a couple times after going in that area I'm going to go around lunch
0:48
time I would say around 1230 ish one o'clock that's when I'm gonna start
0:54
going close to where's a whole lot of restaurants. There's a lot of restaurants
0:59
though open to about 12 or 11 and so it's almost 11 but we're gonna go near
1:05
Chick-fil-a and Panera Bread. Now I don't necessarily pull up into the
1:13
Chick-fil-a restaurant parking lot sometimes I do but you don't necessarily have to just long as you position yourself in between the
1:22
busy restaurants so that's what I'm gonna do I'm gonna go near Panera Bread
1:27
and Chick-fil-a and I'm gonna position myself right in the middle between the two and I'm gonna park if I don't get a if I don't get an offer before then. So
1:40
I'm going to talk about some things that I think I should brush up on with you
1:45
guys. A couple things to maybe you should know if you don't know and just a couple
1:52
reminders. Make sure you have a spare tire in your car. Things happen you can
1:59
get a flat anything make sure you have the tools to change your tire because a
2:04
lot of times people buy used cars it may or may not have a spare tire and it may
2:09
or may not have the tools to change the spare tire. Another thing if you don't
2:15
know how to change a tire look on YouTube research how to change a tire
2:21
I may make a video about that in the future but it's to me I think it's
2:27
important to know I think it's very important to know. These are random
2:31
these are random things I'm telling you right now but it's just something to
2:36
keep in mind maybe get you a piece of paper and a pen and write it down so you
2:42
can look at it. On the DoorDash app when it has pink or has dark pink or it looks
2:50
red they say that means it's busy not necessarily okay like I'm doing now just
2:58
position yourself maybe close to the area you don't necessarily have to go to
3:02
those areas or which they call the hot spots they're not necessarily the hot
3:07
spots. If you're going to be DoorDashing a lot even DoorDashing part-time I think this is really good to know is how to do a lot of your
3:19
maintenance on your car you'll save a lot of money with that because basically
3:24
when you do your own maintenance all you're doing is buying the part but the
3:28
one thing I think you should learn how to do because you're going to be doing
3:33
it more often is learning how to change your oil and the next time I change my
3:40
oil which is real soon I'm going to make a video on how to do it if you don't
3:46
know but if you if you don't know and you want to know right now research it
3:51
research it guys it's not hard at all it's just knowing how to do it make sure
3:58
when you change your oil you change your filter but do a little research on how
4:02
to do it some people go to the dealership and they have free oil chains that's that's great that's that's great but everyone doesn't have that
4:11
especially the people that own their cars so right now we're on our way to
4:16
Chick-fil-a it was an order for four miles I think for seven bucks I have a
4:22
rule and you're going to start to have rules too once you get into it I do not
4:31
accept upside down orders an upside down upside down order is I'm gonna give you
4:37
an example it's ten miles and they only offer a new six bucks I automatically
4:45
decline those another example of an upside down order is maybe eight miles
4:53
for two dollars that's the upside down order I also I do not accept orders with
5:04
no tips okay I do not accept those orders now I rarely I rarely accept them
5:13
on stack orders but I have accepted them on stack orders but it's rare it's very
5:20
rare a stack order is when you when you have received an offer you accepted it
5:26
and then they sent you send you another offer as well and so then you have two
5:33
orders to deal with and sometimes though they send you the second order
5:39
and it might be like a no tip order or it might be a low tip order if it's this
5:48
is my thing if it's on the way of dropping off my first order then I may
5:55
accept a low offer order but if I notice it's not a tip nine times out of ten I'm
6:01
not gonna accept it that was just a little bit of info you know I'm gonna
6:06
keep talking throughout the video and hopefully you're taking notes and letting
6:10
it stick in you know in here in here when you drop off the order if they want
6:17
you to leave it at the door when you take your picture try your best and you
6:23
can't do it every time because sometimes their address numbers are somewhere
6:29
where you can't take a picture along with the food and they're not the number
6:34
of their house or apartment but do your best to take a picture of their address
6:42
along with the food or maybe you could position it to where you can take a
6:47
picture of the food and the hurt the number of the house or apartment the
6:54
reason for that is because it's people out there that likes to get free things
7:01
and they will do what they got to do in order to do that and so it's people that
7:08
calls DoorDash and say until DoorDash that they never received their order
7:14
it's people that calls DoorDash and say maybe my order was stolen the picture
7:20
was taken just make sure you do your part try to cover cover your ASS within
7:28
the app make sure you try to pay attention to if if they sent you a text
7:35
or not because they may switch up and tell you look don't don't leave it at
7:41
the door just hand it to me or they might say that might even ask you to
7:46
grab something extra like they may say you know grab me can you please grab me
7:52
like maybe some extra ketchup or they might ask for a particular sauce just do
7:59
your best to pay attention to that also follow the traffic laws follow the speed
8:07
limit stop when you're supposed to stop you know put on your seatbelt protect
8:13
yourself because the last thing you want to do is you know you got DoorDash
8:18
and make the money and then you get a ticket all your money going to tickets
8:22
or you know just make sure you follow all the traffic laws as you start dashing
8:29
you're going to start seeing which restaurants are faster than which restaurants are faster and which which restaurants are too slow so you want to
8:40
stick to the restaurants that are pretty fast because right when you
8:46
door-dashing time is money so you know how much time you spend on the water it
8:51
makes a difference on how much money you want to make that day you know take a
8:55
note take mental notes or even write it down on paper which restaurants was
8:59
pretty fast for you you know I I don't like to wait at all but I'm very I'm not
9:07
a patient person but I'll say 10 minutes at the most 10 minutes at the
9:13
most I would wait before I let that water go thing I do I bring my own
9:19
snacks I bring my own snacks for two reasons the first reason is so I won't
9:25
be out here spending money you know what so I won't be out here spending the
9:30
money that I'm making door-dashing the other reason is it's healthier I usually
9:39
bring apples bananas and a lot of water it's just healthier I try to set myself
9:47
up for success you know what I mean in every way in every way possible in my
9:54
market where I'm at the fast restaurants for me are Taco Bell
10:04
demo is she I think that's I think that's how you pronounce it I probably
10:09
butchered the name it's a couple Mexican restaurants are really fast the Chinese
10:19
restaurants are really fast it's like soon as you walk in there BAM you don't
10:23
really don't have to wait at all they already got it got it made
10:28
7-eleven wah-wahs I don't know if you guys have a wah-wahs but it's a gas station as well
10:38
yeah they're iffy but I like the order it look good yeah I will accept it but
10:46
those are a couple restaurants in my area that are pretty fast now and we're
10:50
in your area it may be totally opposite you see what I'm saying so you have to
10:54
test that out yourself also I like to accept orders that are the money has to
11:01
match the miles meaning if I get a order that says for two miles and the offer is
11:11
six bucks I'll accept it depending on the restaurant I like it my idea offer is $2 per mile now you're not going to get that all the
11:26
time but when you do take it a borderline offer to me is like five
11:32
miles for seven bucks five miles I really only like to do five miles when
11:37
I'm being offered maybe like eight to ten dollars but sometimes I do accept it
11:43
it's not such a bad order this to me is like it's reaching it's reaching real
11:50
bad as reason also try to find the areas where it's really busy yet like you may
11:57
have a shot a little shopping center you go to well maybe it's not as busy as the
12:03
other shopping center that may be close by nine times out of ten GPS is going to
12:11
take you to the right destination but there are going to be times where it's
12:15
not so you have to be prepared if GPS take you to the wrong location just call
12:23
the customer and find out are they close to this destination are they nearby just
12:30
call the customer a lot of people they'd be like won't like to call text the
12:35
customer just contact the customer here's a little tip for you door dashers beginning door dashers when you
12:46
set the food down when they say leave it leave it their door and you set the food
12:50
down try to pay attention which way the door open and closes if it opens on one
12:56
side try to put it on the other side or try to put it not right up against the
13:01
door but maybe close to the door but just try to try to pay attention where
13:09
you put the food so when they open the door the food is not right up against
13:15
the door where the whole the food is going to tip over just the idea of where
13:22
I'm at it's a lot of restaurants it's right at 12 you see we got chicken salad
13:28
chicken salad chick McAllister's we got the moishe we got my pizza just know
13:34
it's it's little restaurants all I'm surrounded I'm surrounded I'm right in
13:40
the middle of it all all right guys we got one for uber eats it's a good one
13:46
it's a great one but I am NOT going to accept it because it's for Target and
13:53
Target is a big store and I'll be held back it's only for 6.1 miles for $10.18
14:02
that is a good one by the way like I said all right guys here's one for $6.21
14:07
for 8.7 miles that's one of them upside upside down orders I
14:13
told you about earlier so we will decline it this X right here does that's
14:18
uber eats as you can see I am running door dash and uber eats okay over a
14:26
showing out 566 with 3.3 miles actually that's kind of a good order but
14:32
I'm not accepting that because I liked it except six and above I do not think
14:37
this order is worth it is this $7.35 for 7.4 miles declined up here also guys
14:47
you're gonna be getting more gas than you normally do I will sign up with
14:54
upright each time you get gas they put you make money they put money in your
15:00
account you can cash out anytime I'm gonna show you my upside app now I've
15:09
done cashed out maybe three or four times but this is how much I have in
15:12
there now I got $15.35 in there I'll put the promo code in the description my
15:25
promo code is M as in Mary G as in George N as in Nancy F as in Frank 9
15:33
share up side with friends and give them an extra $5 cash back the first time
15:39
they use the app you'll also get a one-time $5 bonus so you get $5 I get
15:47
$5 so use it I mean you make money getting gas why not also if you're not
15:55
already you can get a credit card that gives you cash back when you get gas I
16:04
got one that gives me 4% each each time I get gas so try to have it to where
16:12
you're not losing a lot when you're getting gas try to have it to where
16:18
you're not losing a lot when when it comes down to the maintenance of your
16:22
car like far as like doing your own your own oil changes checking the air pressure
16:28
on your car check the fluids on your car but just try to save as much as you can
16:34
as you're making money Oh I didn't know you was here
16:49
Eat foods that gives you energy not take away your energy make sure you have a good attitude because at the end of the day the
17:16
customers is paying for service and you know you want to meet someone that has a
17:23
pleasant attitude you don't have to have you don't have to be smiling ear-to-ear
17:28
you don't have to laugh at everything they say but be very courteous if you
17:35
feel yourself getting sleepy stop everything you're doing pull over get out the car and get some fresh air run and run in place if you have to it's not
17:49
good you drive when you're sleepy you might as well be drinking and driving
17:53
that's how bad it is it's the equivalent of drinking and driving so we've all
18:01
done it I've done it but it's not safe so just take your breaks get out the car
18:08
get some fresh air eat something if you want to eat something light you know
18:16
just make sure you're fully awake while you drive what gives you good ratings
18:22
door-dashing is your attitude whether you followed instructions and how long it took you to drop off the water
