TRAVEL, HOLIDAY COTTAGE TOUR & COSY EVENING | Holiday Day 1

Welcome to day one of our holiday. Jamie's driving. We've just set off. The dogs are

in the back. They've got these harness things on that seat belt them in, but it's attached

to the headrest. So yeah, they're just chilling in the back with their beds. I've got a little

drink. Did my nails yesterday, fake tanned yesterday. I wanted to paint my toenails

but I chucked out all my nail varnishes a long time ago. So that was annoying. But yeah

we're gonna, we've got three and a half hours journey to the holiday let. We're staying

with my parents and my brother and his girlfriend, but I think Tommy and his girlfriend are only

staying for half of the holiday. But yes, I think we'll stop on the way and get some

food and let the dogs have a drink and stuff. Are you guys okay back there? Um, but yeah

Hello guys. Jamie's just stopped off to go to the toilet. We're going to probably go

to McDonald's for lunch and we'll stop off in about an hour. We've been driving for about

15 minutes and it's gone fairly quickly. It's just quite warm in here. So we need the

aircon on. Cakey got tangled, trying to jump up on the top. Nutty. We got a McDonald's

I got a Big Mac, chips. We're going to share some cheese bites. You got a double quarter

pounder. Oh, and I've got the Biscoff. Um, what's it called? Frappe. And I did get the

doggies a little hamburger to share. We're nearly there. So we just got here. I'm going

to show you a little tour of the place. Uh, the dogs are just currently running around

It's a dog friendly place, which is good, but yeah, I'll start at the front door and

then work my way around. So this is the front door. Uh, the outside area we parked kind

of here and there's like a grass area here and a barbecue area, which I'll show you in

a minute. But this is where you put all your shoes and stuff. And this room here is like

a toilet and a washing machine area. Teddy's liking it. And then here is like the hallway

kind of landing area. Got little dog stuff there, which is good. And then here is the

living room, which is really cozy like this. So plenty of space for us all to sit because

there's going to be a lot of us at one point, Teddy and a little door over there. And then

walking through this way, we come into the kitchen, which will be my favourite room

So on the left hand side, we've got like the table where we can eat at, and then we've

got like a breakfast bar type area. And then this is like the kitchen area. So the fridge

cupboard space, the oven, washing up area, and then tea and coffee little station. And

then also in this room, oh, I think you can access the back area through this door as

well. And there's a little outside area, which I'll show you in a minute. But this

is like a section onto the kitchen. So if someone was cooking, everyone else can chill

here. But this would be a great place to come in winter because there is a log burner, which

is really cute. I doubt we'll actually be using that because it will be quite warm while

we're here, but it's there if we do. And then I think this leads out onto the front

as well. Yes, Teddy. Teddy is sniffing around. He loves it here. So if I show you upstairs

Jimmy's currently on the toilet, so I might have to show you the bathroom or upstairs

later on, but I'll show you everywhere else. Oh, Teddy, he fell. He's still got his harness

on. I'll take that off in a minute. But if we go to the left, this is going to be mum

and dad's bedroom. I said they can have the en suite room. So this is what this room looks

like. And they've got their own en suite area, some toiletries and then a shower. So this

is their room. And then this is the bathroom, but Jamie's in there, even though it says

vacant. Then on this side will be Tommy and Alice's room when they get here, but they won't

be staying here until halfway through the holiday. But their room's a bit smaller and I thought it

was fair they had the smaller room because they are not staying the whole week. They're only

staying half the week. And then if we go through to our room, which is here, this is our room

which is like the second biggest room. Loads of cushions and yeah, a little table, loads of space

to put things in, place to do our makeup and then the view out in the window outside. So I'll show

you the outside. So this is the outside area. This is like the front of the house. So there's a place

for the dogs to run around, loads of space to sit. And then over here on the left, there is

the barbecue area and these double doors lead into, oh, Kiki's there, lead into the kitchen. It's me

you know me. I'm not an intruder. They're lost. They can't find their way out. But this is like

the barbecue area where we can have barbecues. And then I think this is where she keeps the wood

and then Jamie's going to get some of the stuff. Oh, I stole your shoes. Play nicely. Right, should we try and find the outside of the back of the house

It says back door, so I would expect that it would be the back door

Okay, I can't do the door. Is it the back door? Am I holding it the wrong way

Bear with me. So as we come out into the back, there is like a little seating area over here

which we can sit out. We'll probably sit out the front more so than around here because you can't

really see much out here, but this will be a good place to take the dogs to pee and stuff

They seem to be liking the place. Jamie has finished in the toilet, so I'll just show you

the bathroom. Oh, it smells in here. So this is the bathroom that me and Jamie will share with

Tommy and Alice. So the bath, toilet. Oh, he could have put that in the bin. And sink area

all toiletries. Stealing them. Shower. Yeah. So that's the full house tour. I'm now going to

unpack everything that we've brought and see what happens. Mum and dad have arrived

We're here. We need to give dad a full tour. Yeah, just about to show him our upstairs

And the puppies are gassed to see us. Yeah. Jamie are just off to do a little shop at Asda. Let's get some stuff for the week and to eat

tonight. Yeah, Jamie wants some beers to watch some football and then we're going to watch

Love Island later. We've been watching Love Island. I didn't watch it the last few years

What you say? Oh, I don't know. What is it? Oh, Jesus. It says danger

And this is what the house looks from over here. You can kind of see it a little bit

Right, let's go. Oh. Jimmy. Whoa. Cheers. Cheers. Mum and dad have got their food. What have you got? Dining for 12 quid

Let's video this. Potatoes from Mars. Butternut squash galette. There's petit pois

Greens and broccoli. And my own leftover courgettes from last night. Fantastic. Yeah

I'll unpack my shopping. Nice. That's what mum's cooking now. Mum, have you seen how many calories is in one pudding? Yeah, because look how many calories is in one

pudding. I haven't looked. I haven't looked. What would you rather be at home

I'm not a food cyborg. I do like a book game. Just the atmosphere

So in the shop, I got some spaghetti, cheese, passata with garlic. Jamie got these hot chili

spicy nut things. And then I wanted to try these barbecue pepperami things. And they're like for

my lunches and stuff. Orange juice, some prawn cocktail Pringles. I'm going to have this tonight

This is a Hawaiian pizza and it was one pound something. Bacon. Loads of sweets. We got one of

these double dip thingies, whatever they're called. And then these like 30p sweets here that you can

get. And I'm going to mix them in a bowl like a pick and mix. And then Jamie got these. Excuse me

I have to ask you a question. Yeah. Where's fruit and veg? Well, I don't need fruit and veg when I'm

on holiday, do I? I've got fruit and veg in the fridge. I've brought fruit and veg with me

There we are. Thank you. I've got bananas, apples, watermelon. Yeah. And then Jamie's going to have

this tonight. These cheese rolls with cheese. And then this is new, right? This is Heinz beans

I wouldn't normally buy this, but it sounded interesting. Cathedral City cheesy beans

I want to see what that tastes like. Yeah. So we thought, yeah, we'll try it

And then we've got spicy sausage tortelloni and we're going to have that with this tomato

mascarpone sauce one night. And then there's this garlic and herb flatbread as well

And then some rainbow cookies and that's everything we bought. And I did bring a lot

of stuff with me, you know, for the week and stuff. So this is just a top up thing

I had half the pizza. I'll have that half tomorrow for lunch. Jamie hasn't made his food yet

Well, it seems like cooking because he's taken so long with it. Reminds me of those things you get on the beach, you know, where these wadoms

Yeah, it's like a sandcastle. Oh, look how that came out. That's beautiful

I wouldn't believe that. I wouldn't believe it. I've never seen it in my own eyes. Right, enjoy. It looks a bit warm

Look how massive that chair is. Why does it keep stopping

Oh, well, he's gone to the toilet, yeah? Yeah. Choices. Lots of choices

That's a good mix. Making a cup of tea. Got a rainbow cookie from the shop. I'm going to end

the video here because I'm going to be filming tomorrow anyway, and I'll edit it now once I've

got time. I don't know what time it is. What time is it? It's quarter to ten, so I should probably

edit this so I can post it tomorrow. Oh, hang on, the wi-fi is probably going to be so terrible

If the wi-fi is really terrible, this video might go up in a week's time, but if it's not, it will go up tomorrow. It'll do it eventually. Yeah, but if it's going to take hours and hours
