Boomstick Makeup Tutorial, Naturally GLOWING SKIN!
I initially planned this video as a way to find out if a certain toothpaste that advertised whiter teeth in three days really worked. Well, I found out the toothpaste left a but to be desired. I am going to show that and then share the method I use to keep my teeth whiter at home.

Hi, everyone
0:10
Glad to have you back. I'm sitting here drinking my green tea
0:14
This is jasmine green tea. Love it. It is proven to reduce your LDL cholesterol like 14 points or something within just a
0:22
couple of months. It's amazing. Oh, it's hot. Plus, it has a lot of antioxidants, which is really great
0:29
Let me put it over here on my mug warmer there. Well, today I'm excited to share the information in this video with you
0:37
This is about the makeup boom by Cindy Joseph. And amazingly, before I came to YouTube like eight years ago, I was loving this makeup
0:45
and I was using it like all the time because it is super, super easy
0:50
And you all would think I'm some like glamazon in terms of makeup
0:53
But before coming to YouTube, I really wasn't. I wanted easy and natural and quick
0:59
And that is what these boom products give you is easy, quick and natural
1:03
Okay, I'm going to show you a full face of Cindy Joseph makeup and you can wear it with
1:09
or without foundation. And they say that older skin requires a cream foundation
1:14
So I've used this Neutrogena Healthy Skin Liquid Makeup, either using a cream foundation
1:20
or no foundation. And on their website, they really say that they really like brown spots and wrinkles
1:26
showing and that kind of thing. And that is a look. It is not my look
1:30
I really do like to cover things up. So I do like to wear foundation. Normally, I do use this powder foundation, this Bare Minerals Matte in color 12
1:39
And I really do like it. And I don't think it emphasizes fine lines and wrinkles
1:43
But the healthy skin is, again, one of my favorites in terms of a cream foundation
1:48
So I put that on. And they say you don't even have to use concealers
1:51
However, I really don't like my under eye bags and the blackness here
1:55
So I did use a concealer there beside my nose. And then on my chin, I use a little bit there
2:01
But other than that, I do have a natural face. But I did use some Revlon Brow Definer here
2:06
This is my favorite one for blondes because it does help cover the gray
2:10
Although I probably still do have some grays. It isn't perfect. But you know, the boom people really celebrate age
2:17
And I'm trying to do that lately. So a few gray brows that is just as it is
2:22
Okay, let's go ahead with these two little boom sticks. They're called boom sticks
2:27
And I asked them to send me the Trio because I think that would be very nice to show you
2:32
The Trio has these two sticks plus a moisturizer stick. And they didn't send that to me
2:38
So I don't have that to show you. But I assume the moisturizer would kind of null out your fine lines and wrinkles and
2:45
give you a little bit of a moisturized glow. That glow is a wonderful thing
2:50
So they do have a glimmer stick is what they call it
2:54
And here it is. And I'll show it to you. It just gives you a beautiful little glow there. See
3:01
There's that. And they say go ahead and put this on your cheeks, in the top of your cheeks in that area
3:07
Little bit on your cupid's bow. They also say you can use it down your nose, which I'm doing right there
3:13
And then also that you can use it kind of as an eyeshadow. And a lot of people just use their fingers
3:19
So I'll go ahead and use the fingers here. I'll take a little bit of that glimmer stick and just put it above the brows there
3:26
See that? Yeah, just a little bit of a glimmer. Very very easy to apply
3:32
Very moisturizing feeling. Definitely does. And they also say you can use the other stick, which is called color, as like an eyeshadow
3:41
And there is that color. And I'll show you that. And the neat thing about the color stick is it's an eyeshadow, it's a lipstick, and
3:48
it's a blush. So let me go ahead and wipe that off my hand there
3:52
Okay, I'm going to use it a little bit as an eyeshadow
3:56
And I'm not going to use my fingers here. I'm just going to go in and just put it there
4:02
Just to give myself a little color there. I think that looks nice and natural
4:07
I'll do the other side. And I wore this yesterday. And in just a few minutes, I'll show you that final look
4:20
Because I had a pickleball class and I wanted to look, like, you know, just natural but
4:25
a little bit better. You know, I was born in 1958 and I'm not super comfortable going out without makeup
4:31
So even to athletic events, I do like to wear a little bit of makeup
4:35
And I think this is perfect for that. Okay, there is the eyeshadow look
4:41
And then I'm going to go ahead and just put a little bit of this glimmer stick right over
4:46
the middle of that. Ooh, that looks pretty. I like that. Very, very pretty
4:54
And I think before I came to YouTube, I had this stick called Color because I did use
4:59
it all over my face pretty much. Really did like that. Before I go into this, I'm just going to rub in the glimmer
5:06
And I think I'm going to apply this stick. That's nice. And then go over it again with that glimmer
5:13
Let me see. There we go. Looks weird to start, definitely. And it's also a lipstick
5:21
And they say just use your finger as a lipstick. I really wish they had sent me the moisturizer stick because my lips are very chapped
5:32
And I think that would have helped this go on better. I think I'll do this
5:37
Ooh, that's pretty. I like that. Then we'll just go ahead and buff this in
5:45
And at first, it looks a little strident and harsh, I have to admit
5:50
But they call this a universal color, and it's the first one I believe they started out with
5:54
And I think it's the one I wore eight years ago, and I really do like it
5:59
And I think it is kind of a universal color, which is quite surprising because you wouldn't
6:05
think one color could work for everyone. But I think it really kind of does
6:10
OK, that looks nice. And then I'm going to go ahead and again apply this again, just for grins
6:20
Got a little too much before. And then I'm going to take this and put it in the middle of my lips
6:27
Ooh, pretty. I like that. I'm going to rub in that top or kind of pat it in
6:37
Pat in that. OK, so far so good. Oh, they also said you could use this down the sides of your neck, and my neck looks
6:45
a little pale. So I'll go ahead and do that. Seems a little strange to put that color there
6:53
Yeah, I think that works. OK, now I'm going to go in with some mascara
7:03
And I normally use liner, but they don't mention using liner on their website
7:09
So I will not use any eyeliner, but you definitely could. And I'll just go ahead and do lashes
7:19
And I like a pretty thick mascara, and this is one I've only recently started using
7:25
This is the Physician's Formula Diamond Mascara, which is really supposed to give you a thick look
7:31
And I used it yesterday, and I think it does. There it is, really a pretty little case
7:37
Oh, yeah, I like that. I don't always use bottom mascara, but since I don't have liner, I think I will
7:59
Oh, yeah, that's a very pretty mascara. I like that. I'm going for a second coat
8:07
Well that mascara really worked out beautifully. Now here's the entire makeup, and before I give you my impressions of it, I did want
8:14
to show you the makeup I did yesterday prior to Pickleball. OK, I did this makeup because I'm going to a Pickleball class this afternoon, and I want
8:23
it to look kind of like I had no makeup on, but maybe a little bit better than that
8:28
And I think this makeup is absolutely beautiful. It is super natural
8:33
The Glimmer Stick I like because it gives a little glow to your cheekbones, glow to
8:37
your nose. I used it in the center of my lips there, and I like the color stick
8:43
Number one, it is super easy to apply, but I think the color is a very universal color
8:48
that would look good on about anyone, and I think the blush looks totally natural
8:53
This is a winner to me, especially when I'm going to go out and participate in something
8:58
kind of athletic. It is your skin, but better. I think this makeup was perfect for Pickleball, and actually, if you're just kind of a low
9:07
maintenance person, and you want to get up, get out of the door within just a few minutes
9:12
I think this would be a fabulous makeup, especially in terms of more aging skin, because we do
9:18
have little issues that we want to cover up, and sometimes the makeup that we used 20 and
9:22
30 years ago does not look that great on us. I think this is an absolutely beautiful, beautiful makeup, super natural looking, and it does
9:31
not emphasize fine lines and wrinkles, and that's probably why they say it's not necessary
9:35
to use a foundation if you don't want to, and if you have used the Boomstick makeup
9:41
if you would like to share your comments about it in the comment section below the video
9:46
that would be just wonderful, because that way we could help each other. Okay, I always like to leave you with a thought for the day, and this is a quick one, and
9:54
it kind of involves Pickleball, and that is something new for me
9:57
I grew up as a child of the 60s. I was born in 1958, as I mentioned before, and so we did not tend to do group sports
10:05
as women. I did gymnastics in high school, but I never was on a sports team or anything like that
10:12
pretty much just a couch potato, I would say, through my adulthood
10:16
My favorite things to do were going to a movie or going out to dinner, and I realized that
10:21
once I retired, there were two really important things, and I think this is true for all of
10:26
us as we get up into our second half, and the first thing is that we do try new things
10:32
that we get out of our comfort zone and try something new. That's why I decided to add Pickleball lessons and Pickleball to my life, and the second
10:40
thing that I think is so important is the importance of physical activity, and not just
10:46
the occasional sports game you play, but trying to incorporate physical activity and fun events
10:52
into your life, and I went with Alan to a morning Pickleball session
10:57
He plays on a senior Pickleball league, and he goes Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings
11:01
and I realized, number one, it's great for you physically because you're getting that
11:06
exercise, you're getting your heart rate up, that kind of thing, but it is also wonderful
11:11
in terms of a sense of community, of getting that sense of community with others, and so
11:16
I wanted to add that to my life, and if you'd like to see a video about my Pickleball experience
11:22
as a beginning Pickleballer, I hope you'll put that request in the comments section
11:27
because I would love to share information about how I'm trying to make my second half
11:31
my best half, and hopefully you and I can do that together
11:35
Well, I hope you have a wonderful day. I hope you make it a wonderful day, and I look forward to seeing you in my next video
