Hey guys, what's going on and welcome to my channel
0:02
So today's video has been highly highly requested by Pooja and girl
0:06
I am so sorry. I know you had requested this quite a long time back and finally the video is ready
0:13
So in today's video, I'll be sharing some techniques as well as product recommendations
0:18
which will help minimize large pores using makeup and it caters to oily skin type
0:23
So the products that I have recommended today, I have made sure that they are affordable
0:27
and very few of them are like a little bit mid-range kind of a product
0:31
And also I have given like three or four options for you to choose from in each category
0:36
So with these techniques and products for my oily greasy ass skin
0:41
I can actually get away without blotting my face for like a minimum of eight hours
0:46
But then if you have slightly oily or a combo skin, it will be much more longer
0:50
So last but not the least is a quick disclaimer wherein pores are normal
0:55
No matter what your skin type is, every human being has pores
0:59
Just that for oily skin type, the pores are a little bit more enlarged because the oil kind of secretes out of it
1:04
I know it sounds disgusting and gross, but it is what it is. However, the only silver lining that I can see is that for oily skin type
1:12
your wrinkles on your face will be much much more later when you compare to a normal skin type or a dry skin type
1:18
So what will hi-fi? So yeah, before we can get into all the good stuff
1:23
do not forget to hit the subscribe button and the bell icon right next to it
1:26
to get notified whenever I upload. And now let's jump right into the video
1:36
So I have super super zoomed you guys in and this is how my skin looks like
1:41
As you guys know, I have super duper oily skin. Like it's extremely oily and I have pores as you guys can see over here very clearly
1:51
And also I have like some crazy breakouts, which is making my whole chin hurt
1:55
So let me first introduce you to your best best friend and that is a blotting sheet
2:01
Now any blotting sheet will work like when I go to work like office
2:06
I just use like a dry tissue paper that's available in the bathroom and that works like a charm any which ways
2:11
So you can pick up any blotting sheet. It will work. I usually don't even carry like makeup products with me
2:18
when I'm going out with full face of makeup. I just use my blotting sheet and that is good to go
2:22
So since my skin is oily to start with I have not even moisturized my skin
2:27
So I'm just going to take off the excess oil and you can see immediately the difference
2:34
Like do you see the difference? See it's much more evident. It's less evident
2:50
Okay, so one whole blotting sheet even before using makeup. Now first and foremost is moisturizing your skin
2:59
and my oily skin has been loving the Neutrogena Hydro Boost water gel
3:04
Now this product has been like a boon for my oily skin
3:08
and I feel it absorbs into my skin like water. Like, you know, when you put water on a desert how it absorbs
3:15
like that's how good it absorbs into my skin. Now bear in mind this one does has fragrance
3:22
So if you are allergic to fragrance, then this may not be the suitable one for you
3:28
But yeah, this works for my skin and I've been loving it lately
3:32
It is almost over right now and I've already got a backup as well
3:37
So yeah. So as you guys can see it has not made my skin oily or greasy
3:48
There's no extra shine than how it was earlier. So loving this moisturizer
3:54
So now coming to the most important part, which is the primer. Now I have four recommendations for you guys out of which I love to combine
4:01
two of the primers. Like I love the concoction. The reason is because one of them helps with the longevity of the foundation
4:07
makes your makeup last for a very long time and the other one really helps
4:11
in blurring the pores which you will see in a few minutes. So the first product recommendation that I have for you guys is the
4:17
Absolute Blur Perfect Primer. Now, I love this primer because it's easily wearable
4:22
It blurs your pores and it helps the longevity of the foundation
4:26
Now the only kind of a downside for this one is that it has a white cast
4:30
So if you have like a medium skin tone or a darker skin tone, you will have to club it with like a BB cream or a foundation or something of that sort
4:37
But then if you have like a fairer skin tone, you can just get away with just wearing this on its own
4:42
So yeah, this is the first product recommendation. Now the next product recommendation that I have is a very popular one and
4:48
this was actually the first primer that I ever owned and it is way beyond expiry
4:52
I have to throw it away, but it is the Colourbar Perfect Match Primer and
4:57
it's actually kind of quite over and this primer helps so much with blurring
5:02
your pores. With the longevity of the foundation. I don't think it helps that much but then for blurring pores, it's a great
5:10
great option to have. Now the next product that I have is the Wet n Wild Photo Focus Primer and
5:15
this is the matte version. Now this does not claim to be pore minimizing and this is not pore
5:20
minimizing, but this is a matte version. So it will help with the longevity of your foundation and keep your skin oil-free
5:27
Now last but not the least is my most favorite primer, which I have already
5:31
done like a dedicated video on it. I will link it above check it out if you're interested and that is the
5:35
Nykaa Prep Me Up Face Primer. Now this primer actually really helps the longevity of the foundation
5:42
Now I was really blown away by this because I had such low expectations when I bought it, but it really really helped my foundation last for a long time
5:51
Now when it comes to blurring pores, it doesn't do such a great job
5:55
It does like a mediocre job. So what I usually prefer doing it is combining with the Lakme one and this
6:01
one because this will help me keep the foundation long for a very long time
6:05
and this one really helps in blurring the pores. This one is a transparent primer and it doesn't have any white cast or any
6:13
kind of issue like that. So the Lakme one that I'm going to go through I'm just taking such a teeny
6:24
tiny amount first and I'm going to just use it only on the places that I
6:31
need and I'm just tapping it into my skin. Now just a teeny tiny bit more just in this area and again, I'm just tapping
6:48
it into my skin. Now, do you guys see the difference like between this side and this side
6:57
how immediately it kind of blurred the pores? And with the Lakme primer, it has a little bit brightened up this region
7:09
as well wherever I have applied it. So yeah, now I'm going to do the same on this side as well
7:15
And now for foundation, the first recommendation that I have is the NYX
7:37
Can't Stop Won't Stop foundation. Now, this foundation is great for oily skin type and it gives full coverage
7:44
Now this on its own without a primer itself lasted for me for like 7 hours
7:49
without needing to blot my skin. So this is like great if you have like oily skin type
7:54
Now the only kind of a downside for this one is that this shade beige is
7:58
actually like a perfect for my skin tone apparently, but then it is quite yellow
8:03
So most of these shades kind of run a little bit yellow undertone-ish
8:07
So just be careful when you're choosing your shade and also try not to be
8:11
heavy-handed with this one because this is a full coverage foundation. So a little bit of heavy-handedness will make your foundation look very cakey
8:19
So just make sure that you layer one step at a time kind of a thing. So yeah, so the second recommendation that I have is the L'Oreal
8:26
Infallible 24 hours Fresh Wear foundation. Now this one is absolutely beautiful because it kind of runs very liquidy
8:33
at the same time. It's very pigmented. Now it has this nice satin matte finish
8:37
It's not like completely matte matte finish, but at the same time it does
8:41
keep the oil at bay and it lasts for a long time if you have an oily skin
8:45
Now, this is a kind of an overall all-rounder kind of a foundation like
8:49
even if you have like dry skin, normal or oilier combination, this will
8:53
look beautiful on your skin tone. Now the last foundation which is my personal favorite is the Maybelline
8:59
Super Stay Full Coverage foundation. Now this I have been using it for the longest time like you can see how
9:05
beat up and dirty it is because of how many times I've used it
9:09
Now the Maybelline Fit Me foundation was not matte enough or oil
9:13
controlling enough for my extremely oily skin. So this one however works perfectly fine and that too with this combo
9:20
it will last you for the longest time. So this is the foundation I'm going to be using today
9:25
So as always I'm going to take it at the back of my hand
9:31
So you can see how thick it is. It's not runny or anything
9:35
It's really thick and it also has a very good buildable coverage
9:40
So what I usually like to do when it comes to foundation is I take my
9:44
beauty blender tap it but I don't go immediately into my skin
9:49
I take off the first few layers and then is when I get into my skin
9:55
and I pat pat pat. And I slowly build it up. It's nicely even down now for concealer
10:16
You can use any concealer today. I'm using the L'Oreal infallible full wear concealer, which I really
10:23
like but the only sad thing is they come only in three shades, but I
10:27
really love the formula of this one. And now for your second best friend is a loose powder and the most
10:42
favorite loose setting powder that I would highly highly recommend is the Maybelline fit me loose setting powder
10:48
Now I have used this a bajillion number of times on my videos. If you're a regular subscriber, you would know that I love this one
10:54
Now. I do own the Laura Mercier translucent setting powder and the
10:59
RCMA no color powder, but even then I always reach out is only for
11:04
the Maybelline fit me loose powder and that's what I'm going to use today
11:08
And it also comes in a variety of shade. Now what I love to use is I just take in the cap
11:14
There's always like excess product in the cap already. Now I take it directly now
11:19
I always take the powder on my beauty sponge, but then I don't go on my face with it
11:24
So I take the powder take off the first layer away and then whatever
11:30
is left over. I just press it on my skin. Now this will make my foundation much more lighter like my skin will
11:40
become much more lighter, but I promise you if you have oily skin
11:44
once your oil comes through it will be completely fine. And now with whatever was left over again, I'm going to just press
11:53
and pick up that same powder. Now you could just do this wherever you know, you have your oils
12:05
coming through for me. It's all over the face. So I'm just doing it all over now as you guys can see I'm just
12:11
pressing the powder into my skin. So this will help again with my oily skin
12:19
So yeah before I can go ahead and apply my blush the contour and bronzer and everything
12:24
This is how my base makeup is looking like right now. And I'm back
12:47
Right now. I have added the blush and bronzer. I didn't contour or anything
12:51
It is just matte finish products that I have used now. I'll specify everything in the description box below
12:57
You can check it out. That's my usual staple go-to products and last but not the least
13:02
is to lock in your complete makeup is a setting spray. Now have two recommendations for you guys and both of them
13:09
They don't help with the longevity of your makeup, but I feel it helps maintain it
13:14
So the first product that I have is the NYX setting spray. This is the matte finish one
13:18
It's almost over and it's kind of very used and run down
13:24
So I have used it a lot and the next one which is fairly new for
13:28
me and I have used it like a couple of times. I think like three or four times is the Wet n Wild photofocus
13:34
matte finish setting spray. Now, this is so cute and travel-friendly and I love the setting
13:40
spray just to lock in the makeup. Drenched. Now what you can do is take your sponge and just press the
13:50
setting spray into your skin. Now this again will help it lock your makeup right in
14:04
So yeah, this is how the makeup looks at a distance and not that super close
14:09
And yeah, these were the techniques on how to minimize large pores as well as it will keep your makeup in place for a long time
14:17
