There's another
0:08
This one's better. Oh, that's a good one. That looks like a better one. Yeah
0:12
Let's go fish top. Yeah. We go back and fish the same creek, like maybe those creeks just had a lot of fish in them
0:22
you know? I don't, I mean, it's possible. I mean, it's like other lakes, like not everywhere is going to have fish
0:30
Did we just find a couple of creeks with a lot of fish? Is that why they were on those docks? Maybe. Maybe
0:35
We have fished the ditches out in front of those docks? I mean, we're in 30 feet. That's about right. It's just textbook. Yeah
0:40
About what we've been doing. Right. The only thing is, this is kind of a side hitch. You got one
0:44
No, I'm just messing with you. I got one. I got one. I got one
0:48
I got one. I got one. I got one. I got one
0:52
I got one. I got one. I got one. I got one
0:56
I got one. I got one. I got one. You actually have one? Oh
1:01
Tom, that's a good one. That's a jumbo. That's a good one. What'd you catch, Monica
1:05
That's a good one. That's a really good one. That's a good fish. That's a good fish
1:09
Is it? For where? Yeah, for where? For where? For where? Yeah, for where
1:15
For where? Yeah, for where? For where? Yeah, for where? Yeah, for where
1:20
Yeah, for where? Yeah, for where? Yeah, for where? Yeah, for where
1:24
Yeah, for where? Yeah, for where? Yeah, for where? Yeah, for where
1:29
Yeah, for where we're at. That thing's a monster compared to what we have. We have zero in that spot
1:35
This is our fifth one. Correct. Yeah, correct. But, that confirms to me that if we fish..
1:42
Look at that. Absolute chongus! He held onto it for a while, too. Really
1:51
Oh, yeah. I didn't even feel him bite. He just picked it up, and then I tried to shake him off
1:55
Don't ask me why. I just did. You tried to shake him off
2:00
You did not. Yeah, I kind of did, actually. Not on purpose. Yeah, I kind of did try to shake him off
2:04
Again, not on purpose. I just didn't know what I was doing. All right. Well, I picked it up, and it was there, and then I let it go back out
2:13
And then I picked it up, and he was there again. And then I set him to him. Really
2:18
Yeah, it's pretty bad. Did you look at our total weight? Yeah. Do I want to know? Nope
2:23
What do you think we're at? I think we're at 957. Nope. 857
2:27
We're in the eights. I think we're just shy of nine pounds. Eights. Oh, that's a better one
2:31
He's alive. He's a live one. It's fun. Yeah, I think we're at 957
2:35
I think we're at 957. I think we're at 957. I think we're at 957. I think we're at 957
2:39
I think we're at 957. I think we're at 957. I think we're at 957. I think we're at 957
2:43
I think we're at 957. I think we're at 957. I think we're at 957. I think we're at 957
2:47
I think we're at 957. I think we're at 957. I think we're at 957. I think we're at 957
2:51
I think we're at 957. I think we're at 957. I think we're at 957. I think we're at 957
2:55
I think we're at 957. I think we're at 957. I think we're at 957. I think we're at 957
2:59
I think we're at 957. I think we're at 957. I think we're at 957. I think we're at 957
3:03
I think we're at 957. I think we're at 957. I think we're at 957. I think we're at 957
3:07
I think we're at 957. I think we're at 957. How long do you think we've been up fishing docks
3:12
10 minutes? 5 minutes? Yeah, 5-10 minutes. And we've already hooked too
3:16
I haven't got this one in the boat yet. We'll see what happens. It's not that big
3:29
Not that big, but that's what happens when you cut the weed guard off
3:34
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I probably should retie, but I'm not gonna. I know I've said that like 6 times
3:42
You're trying to lose these hooks. But I'm trying to lose these hooks, guys. Yeah, they're just not good
3:46
He's heavy. I'll bet you he goes 5. I'll bet it's the weed guard that's the problem
3:53
It could be. It very well could be. What's your guess, Tom
3:58
Him? Yeah. He's gotta be... 2.12. No. 1.30. Oh, he'll definitely beat that
4:06
I think we'll go 2... I think he'll beat it by almost a full pound
4:10
I'm gonna go 2.22. 2.22. 2.42. Alright. That's pretty good. Well, we've just added over 2 pounds to our total bag
4:21
3 pounds. We just added 3 pounds to our bag. Yeah, we're at 10 pounds
4:28
That's pretty big. That's good progress. Yeah, I probably should retie because now that I know the hook works without the weed guard..
4:36
Now you wanna keep it? It's probably... I mean, it's probably a good hook, don't you think
4:40
It's sharp. I like BMC hooks. It's actually sharp. I'm gonna retie
4:45
You start. You keep flipping these docks. Delio. I mean, that's two fish pretty quick. Yeah
4:57
Uh, yeah, very quick. He was kinda between the docks. Yeah, I saw him on forward facing
5:03
Oh, you did. I see. Yeah. Yeah, maybe I should use that
5:10
Yeah, what'd you think? I was just making a blind cast? No, just for fun. Tom, you should know me now
5:17
I don't fish without forward facing. It's not a good trait. It's just..
5:23
It's just so much fun to look at them. It doesn't hurt to try them
5:27
I am. But I think those ones on that back wall where we just came from were in the depth
5:31
The depth range. Yeah, this one's like 15 feet, I think. Too shallow
5:36
Yeah, try. Go for it. There's fish on the... Not my best effort
5:45
We need to find some better stuff. Find some juice. What do you call your shot
5:52
Oh, it's a largey. I think. It's definitely a largey. Head shakes like a largey
6:00
Is it a big one? Oh, he's actually not bad. He's not bad
6:06
What do you call your shot? Get him in the boat. Get him in the boat. Whoa! Whoa! Whoa
6:19
It's actually a good fish. Yeah, not bad. It might be the biggest one of the day. Do you think he goes two and a half
6:24
I don't know. That's our biggest one so far, isn't it? Nope
6:28
Definitely not going to go two and a half. But our first largemouth of the day. It's been a fun one
6:33
I know it's been non-stop action. You know when they sound hollow
6:41
I mean, this is a light fish. Yeah. He sounds hollow. He might go..
6:45
He might go one. Kilo. He got a kilo of cologne. Bumby and bam bam
6:56
Bet you I can make it look big. Big old two-pounder. Whoop! Ooh! Ooh! Ooh! Ooh! Ooh! Ooh
7:08
It's a soft landing. Does not stick to land. Yeah, let's keep these more off the side, I thought
7:13
I just dinged one off the GoPro. Did you really? By accident. Oh
7:18
I was trying to make a flip. That could be a cool... Oh, well, you cracked the lens and stuff
7:23
Well, I wasn't trying to do that. It's just, he got in my way
7:27
It was cool of an accident. Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh
7:35
Who puts this there? Guys, I don't know if I'm going to be able to take Tom fishing anymore. He's just straight up googan
7:43
You know me. Oh! Ooh! Ooh! Ooh! Ooh! Ooh! Ooh! Ooh! Ooh! Ooh! Ooh! Ooh! Ooh! Ooh! Ooh! Ooh! Ooh! Ooh! Ooh! Ooh! Ooh! Ooh! Ooh! Ooh! Ooh! Ooh! Ooh! Ooh
8:22
What? You get that
8:33
I think so. I can do it. I had the jokester getting joked
8:51
Yeah, I'm sure. Oh my. That's horrible. Alright
9:16
It's not overcast. Cloudy. Yeah, a little bit yuck. What is it
9:21
Um, tough to say. It comes from Namibia. I think it's kind of small. Take a look
9:35
Nice. Oh, is that a large one? No. That's a good one
9:42
That's a good one. Come back here, you rat. That's a good fish
9:46
It's going to be bigger than what we had. It's almost smallmouth shaped
9:52
It is almost smallmouth. It has a smallmouth color to it too. It does, yeah. Alright
9:58
Alright, alright! Nice catch! Thank you. On the blade? A blade bait. Interesting
10:05
Sneaky, sneaky. On that blade bait, huh? How did those needles work out for you
10:13
Um, perfect. Oh yeah? Yeah. Good. Do you have to fizz any of them
10:20
Um, have to? No. One, yes. But, no. Not often. If you release them pretty quickly, they're fine
10:29
But it's always good to have... For your tournament though, didn't you have to... Oh yeah, we did that
10:33
Weren't you catching them really deep? Yeah. We got point two. Point, sorry
10:41
Point zero two. Oops. He kind of went in lateral. Well, point zero two
10:55
Nice. Well, that's good. It feels good to catch one. Yeah? I kind of ate it on the pole. Really
11:02
I never, yeah, I never really felt him eat. Just lifted back up and it was... And it was there. Wow
11:07
You know? Yeah. So that brush has fish back there. Or no, you didn't catch that one on the brush
11:14
You caught them up on the plate. Yeah, they're stuck on the plank. I just band cast him
11:22
Yeah. A lot of dinks. Yeah. A lot of dinks. Yeah, what's up with that
11:30
It is fun. It's a grind. Don't get me wrong. It is a grind
11:34
It has been a slow day of fishing. But I think it's been fun. I've been having fun
11:39
I don't know. I have been happy to catch them on... There's another
11:44
This one's better. This one's better. I was going to say, as I was saying
11:54
I've been happy to catch him on a new technique. Yeah. Is it a good one
11:59
I think this one's better. I think. It's about the same size. Well, maybe a little better
12:08
Oh, he's better. He's better. Well, maybe a little better. Oh, he's better
12:12
That's a good fish. That's a really good fish. That's a 3.5. 3.5
12:20
Yeah, totally. Oh, buddy. He's going to help us. Of course he's going to help us
12:28
That's a good fish. All right, baby. Yeah, blade bait, huh? Yeah
12:35
We should have thrown him in the live well to get a picture. Throw him in the live well? Yeah
12:39
Yeah, if you get a picture. All right. Well, I locked it in
12:44
Our smallest fish now is two flat. Okay, now we're making progress. We're making progress
12:48
Remember this is what happened last time. We got a half pound cull, another half pound cull. Here
12:53
Yeah, you want to throw him in the live well so we can get a picture at the end? Yeah, let me throw him in the live well
12:56
Yeah, just watch us not catch another fish now the entire day. I think we might be onto something here
13:01
Might be onto some juice with the blade bait. What do you think? That one was interesting because it felt like my lure got paddled up
13:11
It just happened to be a fish. I think he ate it actually on the hop
13:17
Oh, really? Yeah. Oh, that's a good one
13:37
That looks like a better one. Yeah, this one's good. Oh, oh, oh
13:45
If it's a bass, it's a big one. I think it's a stripe
13:50
Let me get the net for you. It's fighting like a stripe
13:55
If it's a bass, it's a big one. It's jumbo. It's a jumbo. Oh, look at that
13:59
What do you got there? Hello. What do you got there? What is this
14:05
What do you got? I don't know. It's like a cloth of some sort
14:15
Oh, it's a hybrid. Check out that bad Larry. That's a huge hybrid
14:26
We should keep it. That is a massive hybrid. I'll eat it
14:30
You will? Yeah, we can keep it for sure. Huh? Yeah, we can keep it for sure
14:34
That's a big hybrid. How come you catch all the fun ones? That's a massive hybrid
14:41
Let's go! Weigh it, weigh it, weigh it. We should weigh it
14:46
Wait, that is the biggest hybrid I've ever caught. That's a big hybrid
14:52
It's a massive hybrid. That's a pig. Oh my gosh. That's a big fish
15:01
That is a big fish. You want to weigh him? You got your scale
15:06
Yeah, I do. That is too funny. Alrighty
15:19
Cool. I wish that was a bass. I might need to fizz that other one
15:23
He's kind of floating. Not doing too hot. He's doing the backstroke
15:29
See, I would rather you catch that fish. I don't want to catch those. I would love to catch that
15:35
I want to catch a bass. I would also rather catch that
15:42
That's so funny. Nice catch, dude. Thank you. That's fun. That's so much fun
15:50
Why do you catch all the fun fish? I'd rather catch a bass. I know
15:55
I think it was like that last time too. You caught that big ol' striper on top water
16:01
Yeah, you did. You caught two stripers on top water. Yeah. Oh my gosh
16:06
I've had enough. Had enough. I'm really ready. Look at it. I'm glad we came back and hit this point
16:19
Yeah, me too. Was this the same point we caught fish at earlier? Yeah
16:24
I've always liked to underspin on her. That's for sure. I'll have the next spot
16:30
First striper. I'll have the next non-target fish. Yeah. Alright, guys
16:55
Just got off the water. We had, what'd we end with? 12 and a half? 13? Yeah
17:00
Yeah, somewhere in that range. Yeah. Not the biggest weight, but honestly, the way the lake's fishing right now and how tough the conditions were today, it seemed, I don't know, it's cloudy, it was a little sunny when
17:04
we started. It never really warmed up. It never warmed up. It never warmed up
