Today we are riding on Route 66 from Kingman, Arizona to Williams
0:21
Welcome to Kingman, Arizona. We wanted to go to the visitor center, but it's already closed
0:37
And a photo with the sign would be nice, but that car's already been here for a while, and there's two more cars waiting
0:45
I guess that's the end of our time in Kingman. Let's drive deeper into the desert
0:58
This. His gigantic hetachus. Giganticus hetachus. Let's have a look around
1:15
Lots of interesting stuff here. Is that a dust devil? I've never seen one
1:30
Don't pet the fluffy cactus. Paparazzi's out the road. This telephone booth might be the oldest thing here
1:44
If you see it let us know that you seen it Take a picture and tag us on Instagram Old Doc has seen better days
1:56
Time for another stop, this time at the Hackberry General Store
2:15
Look at this, it's 104 degrees in the shade. Let's cool off inside
2:26
This place has everything, including a ton of clothing. And an old soda fountain, or maybe it was a bar
2:41
Hey, that's the same fabric KYD had in the bird. D had in the bird
2:46
We're going to share with you our root. But we're not going to give you any hints at all
2:54
I've sat in that seat when I went to the RV Hall of Fame. I'll leave a link for that video here
3:13
And here. Aubrey cliffs in the distance. And Chino Point, just before pulling into Seligman
3:31
One thing I'm starting to realize is that Route 66 has a lot of old cars
3:38
And a lot of quirky little shops that are all selling the same souvenirs Well that seems accurate Hey maybe we should try some Route 66 soda
3:50
If you didn't know, Siligman is the birthplace of Route 66. Guess where we are
4:03
So this is apparently the world's biggest Route 66 sign. So we're going to do a picture here
4:11
We have our Route 66 sodas. So let's take some photos. I'll put those in the video here
4:27
2026 marks the 100th anniversary of Route 66. So Gillen and I have decided that we are going to do the entire Route 66 with the trailer in 20206
4:38
So stick around for that. Cheers. Oh, am I supposed to do a cheers too
4:43
Yeah, we'd be cute if I were in it. Cheers. We are quickly running out of daylight
4:49
We are quickly running out of daylight. This place is a little over the top, and there's no video allowed inside, so let's keep moving
5:06
And here is the sign, birthplace of Route 66. While we are losing light fast
5:21
We're going to jump back on I-40 to save some time. But soon the sunset is upon us And it dusk as we roll into Williams Arizona the gateway to the Grand Canyon
5:41
It's nice to see all of this lit up at night. And there is a map of the mother road
5:53
Look at that amazing desert sunset. Route 6,6 vendors have really taken to the Disney Cars theme
6:29
Williams is a very active little town. There's people everywhere
6:43
We'll have to come back sometime to partake in the nightlife. And we are once again on the road driving into the night
6:54
until we reach our final destination for the day. The red feather
6:59
Lodge in Tucson. See you in the morning. On the next one, we're up at the crack of dawn, only 15 minutes from the highlight of the day
7:09
