Amazon Fun Finds From Prime Days 2024 ｜ Beauty - Home - Lifestyle

It has been about a month now since we had Amazon Prime Days, and I have tested the things that I bought

and I thought it would be really great to be able to bring you some things that I feel like are really good

And this isn't just makeup and skincare. This is across the board

A lot of hair care, actually, I'm really surprised at and really enjoying all of these things

So before we get started, I always get asked what I have on for a shirt

makeup, all of that, that will all be listed and linked below. Here's a picture of this shirt

so that you can see that as well. And just want to make sure that I kind of get that out of the way

and seeing what it's all about. My name is Melissa. I am 56 years old, and I am an absolute

nut for makeup and skincare. And I love fashion as well, but sometimes we slip in a little bit of

special. So let's get into what I bought during Amazon Prime Days that I am really digging and loving

Starting out with something that I kind of got sucked into. As a matter of fact, I'm going to turn this off a little bit

There we go. That's a little better. So I got sucked into buying this because everybody was talking about it

This is an oil from cleansing oil from bioderma. And as I was seeing people talk about it, I'm like, can it really be that big of a deal

It's called ultra-nourishing anti-irritation cleansing oil, cleanses, restores, lipids, soothes, dry, very dry to irritated sensitive skin

that is me and it talks about that it has 24 hour hydration. Okay, I don't take showers anymore. I have

pots. I'm dizzy all the time. So I'm very careful. I get in the tub now. So in the shower

you're putting it on, you're supposed to rinse it off. In the tub, it's a little bit different. So I wait until the very end and I'll put it on and then I will rinse just as I'm getting out of the tub

This makes your skin so soft. And not only does it make your skin soft, but I have this faux tan going on all the

because I do self-taining. And it also helps with that not looking patchy because my skin now

is hydrated where it was so dry before I could barely even keep it hydrated. So this in the bath

really does help. I'm really surprised at how much I do like this. I thought it was just going

to be another gimmicky thing. I bought the big one because it was on sale. It was, you know

so much cheaper than buying a smaller one. And I'm so glad that I did. And I wanted to just tell you

about that. I also got sucked into these. This is the Grace and Stella. Everything is better in pink

moisturizing eye patches. I think there is 48. There's a ton in here. So you're getting the

eye patches and you just use them once and then you throw them away. However, I use mine two or three

times. I just save the package, slip them back in the package with the little tray that they come with

and put them in a baggie and they last a long time. And I feel like because I've already cleansed my

skin that they're pretty clean. And I absolutely love that deep hydration because if you're anything

like me and you're a postmenopausal woman or menopausal woman, this area gets so dry. Under eyes

gets so dry. So if I put this on and do go about doing whatever else and then do my skin care

my under eyes are going to be so plumped up And I noticed that even over time because there such good ingredients in it I feel like the benefits kind of are cumulative So I really do like these Okay something Also we talking menopause

This is so good. I don't know if my son charged this up for me again or not. It is. It's not

Okay, this is a personal fan that you wear around your neck. And right here is, it's blowing up on

your face. If you've ever had a hot flash and you are ready to just die because you cannot

stand the heat, you're in the car and nobody else is hot, but you are and this saves my butt

I'm telling you, not my butt. It saves my neck. But it seems like all that heat is around my face

and my neck. And so this just really cools me down so fast. It has like three settings or four

settings and three settings. And it just really is a really nice thing to have for menopause

for outdoor activities. If you're somebody that goes to outdoor, sports. This might be something that you really enjoy because of the heat or the humidity. I really

have been loving that fan so much. Rechargeable, by the way, rechargeable and I'm really comfortable

to wear. And they have a bunch of colors too. So this is something that I definitely glad that I got

And you're going to, you know, here's a mug. You're going to go, we all know about the mugs

Melissa, the 40 ounce mugs that we all use. My 40 ounce mugs that I had before would fit into my

cup holder. This one does. It, it mimics. the Stanley one, but I like it because it doesn't just have the lid that goes down in and, you know

falls off half the time. This one actually twists on. And I love that the straw is in a little

suction thing right here. So you're not going to tip this over and have it spilling everywhere

immediately. I mean, it's not completely spill-proof because we do have a straw. But I love this

And I love the aesthetic of the colors on it. And 40 ounces, I do this twice a day, and I've got my

water for the day. So awesome and stay hydrated during the summer months. Absolutely. I was also

influenced to do two hair shampoo and conditioner sets. And the first one was very affordable

This is from Monday. And this was, I think Sherry from Graceful Beauty was talking about this

This is their volume one and it's the shampoo and conditioner. And it's fairly inexpensive

I was really surprised anyway how inexpensive it was. And then on top of that, it was

was on sale for prime day. And I am shocked at how soft my hair is in using this and how voluminous it is

My hair is fine and limp. And as I had my little health issue, this thing, my little health

issue things go on. I was losing a lot of hair. And so I'm getting a lot of volume from this

And I'm really pleased with it. And the conditioner is thick enough that my really dry ends are soaking

that up. But it's not. so heavy that it's weighing it down. Really enjoying this. Another thing that I was completely

influenced to get is from Redkin. This is their acid color gloss, and I have the conditioner

and the shampoo, and I have the leave-in conditioner as well. This, I saw an ad on TV one day, or over and over

again on Instagram or something, and this woman's hair was incredibly glossy and shiny

And if you have blonde hair, you know, dyed colored blonde hair, I should say

You know that your hair isn't necessarily glossy anyway, and it's hard to get a good gloss on it

Dark hair, it always seems to be glossy, no matter what they do, you know, very easily glossed hair is what I'm trying to say for darker hair

But when you have blonde hair that's color treated, that's a little bit harder. But I do like this very much

I feel like it does give me a lot more shine with my hair than I have had before and just really enjoying it And it doesn interfere with the volume of this

Sometimes you'll get two shampoos that compete and this doesn't. As a matter of fact, I will just mix these in my hand and go ahead and, you know, use them on my hair

And I also mix in my D.HT blocking shampoo. So that's still in the rotation

And I showed that during prime days. definitely always put some sort of anti-hair thinning shampoo in the mix for me because I'm always losing my hair

So I'll list that one with these as well. But I do feel like the redkin, the system, the whole system of it has really helped with the shine on my hair

And I also love that it balances the pH as well, supposedly

And yeah, I think that this is a really great product, a lot more expensive than this one

but at the same time it has a place in my hair rotation, really have been enjoying it

Okay, another thing that I got is one of these choppers. And where have I been forever

This is the easiest thing to do your vegetables with. You can make salsa right here in this thing, right in this little cubby thing, whatever it's called, container that it sits on

So I do want to tell you, if you have little ones, be very careful

This is a knife sharp grate system here or, you know, chopping system

And I just want you to be very careful if you have little ones. So what happens is raise the arm and then you can change out these little grates

They have different sizes to them. They're cutting plates. They're not great. But they also have different ones that you can put in here and use as well

This system was so much better than the old one that I had

And I absolutely love it. I love that this goes in. the cures and then you just do your chopping and like I said you can make your your salsa all in here

and it all gets mixed together and it's so good I really debated about which one to get because

there was so many on sale during prime days but this one had tons of really great reviews and I'm

really glad that I got it it just has worked out really well for me I got some of the prettiest jewelry

as well I got this little bengal bracelet that has the rhinestones in it and it is just so blingy

and it's got different cuffs on here, but it's all one cuff

If that makes sense, it has the different size stones, I guess is what I'm trying to say

but it's all one cuff. It looks so lux and so high end

I'm in love with it so much. And then I got this beautiful pink watch with the gold on it

I absolutely love that as well. So pretty, by the way, you're seeing my nails right here, and I will make sure I link those

This is a beautiful watch. It has that pink enamel in it and then on the face

Gorgeous watch. Definitely wanted to share that with you. You know as well as I do, it would not be a Melissa video from Amazon without a purse in it

And I love this little bitty purse. This holds so much. I am shocked at how much this holds

And it is so stylish. It comes in a bunch of colors. Has the cutest guitar strap in the color that matches

and then has this link chain that goes across the front right there

I want to get it in a bunch of colors, but of course I already have a bunch of purses

so I'm not going to do that. But I do like that it has divider pockets in here, but it has this big, huge one

But the way that they've designed this, it holds a lot. It really does hold a lot

By the way, here's my cell phone, my cell phone, and my wallet fit in here perfectly with some

lipsticks and whatever else I need. So it is a darn cute purse

and it also has a regular strap that is the same color as this

but I liked the guitar strap that they sent with it as well Travel steamer oh my goodness why haven I known about this for years and years this is a travel steamer that folds up goes into your suitcase and I in love with this

thing I'm not just using it for travel I am now using it afar every day because it's so

handy so easy and yeah it's a really good one I'm so glad that I got it because when we

were traveling before you know my husband wears a lot of cotton t-shirts or

shirts button down shirts and this is so easy to just get him looking you know very polished and

you know very ironed out so really have been loving this one it has a great mist on it it heats up

really fast and yeah definitely wanted to tell you that that was a hit for me as well and then this

right here I showed you before the sale and I am telling you this little bugger is a saver for me

I love this thing I use it in drawers I'm pulling in that the wrong way. I use it down in drawers. I use it in my car. I use it to, you know, get things

that the dogs have spilled. This is so easy. It has this flip little brush right here, which is

great for dog hair because that's brushing and pulling the dog hair up as it goes. And then you can

flip it down and then this comes out and will snap in place and you have the nozzle that's even

skinnier to go in the crevices of your car or wherever. I've used this behind my

bed. That is the one thing that was so impressive to me. You know, sometimes it takes forever. You

don't want to move your bed out because it's super heavy. Mine is anyway. Super heavy, but I just use this

and it goes right down in there. And the section on this is great. So I'm really impressed with this

It is a great vacuum from Black and Decker. And it is rechargeable, very light. It's not heavy at all

So you know that. I like that about it too. You know, when you have neck problems or shoulder

problems that can be an issue but not with this so this is a purchase that i was really glad that i did

during prime days and then lastly my jailhouse sweater cardigan that i absolutely love i think this is so

cute i haven't even had a chance to wear this but i did try it on this is an adorable

cropped you know just at the waist sweater and i just think it's so cute i thought it would be really

cute with a pair of white pants. Of course, are we supposed to wear white after Labor Day or is that

like gone out the window now? I got a few weeks left to wear it with my white crock pants or white

pants, whatever. It's just really cute. It has some really great detailing on it with the gold

buttons. And the ones that everybody was talking about this year were the ones with the small

stripes. And I got this one with the bigger stripes on it and I think it's way cuter. I also like that

short enough that you're getting the fullness on your top but your legs still look slim in your

jeans or whatever you're wearing with it so this would be really cute with a black skirt as well

i really am liking this and it's from grace karen and if you've never tried any of grace karen's

clothing it is really high quality i really do like it and was really surprised when i first got

this so loving that and i think that that just about wraps it up i hope that you did enjoy seeing
