Hey guys, Ivan here and in this video we gonna do a little prediction for the annual classic
0:05
2024. There is only a couple of days left until the show and we gonna do a top 10 right
0:12
here in this video. So let's start, let's cut to the chase. 11th place, Remeko Bosse
0:18
This guy won a pro card last year in the annual classic and that's why he's competing, that's
0:22
why he's invited. But all the other guys doing this show are seasoned pros who are like twice
0:27
his size. No matter how off in shape they are, there is no chance Remeko can beat them
0:33
Even if he is completely peeled and for example Kim Williams shows up completely out of shape
0:38
still, still, these guys are much bigger and this guy has no chance. But he's gonna get
0:43
an amazing experience, he's gonna get his name out there so hopefully in the future
0:48
his name will be more recognizable in the 212 as a pro. Justin Rodriguez takes the 10th
0:54
spot in my book. Now I'm not sure if this is how it's gonna play out but somebody needs
0:59
to be that 9th and I just, I'm not really a big fan of Justin's physique especially
1:04
lately. I think it's very rugged, like a lot of it went wrong in the past couple of years
1:11
I remember his legs used to be a weak point for him but in a couple of months his legs
1:15
blew up, they doubled in size so you can only assume what he did to them, however they are
1:20
looking weird. The waist is not exactly the smallest, the back is probably his strongest
1:27
body part but in this back lat spread and the others that he posted, also like the symmetry
1:32
is lost, the balance is just not quite there. As far as conditioning, well this photo is
1:38
from two weeks out so I guess he's gonna be lean enough but yeah, I don't think he has
1:44
the quality or the shape, the structure to beat these guys. I mean he's a great bodybuilder
1:50
I think he placed like top 10 in the Mr. Olympia, I think he was 8th at one point, it wasn't
1:55
exactly the most competitive Mr. Olympia but still huge success so maybe I'm underestimating
1:59
this guy but based on what I'm seeing in his physique updates and his previous performance
2:04
I have him in 10th and in 9th spot I have Mohamed Shaban. Mohamed has been hiding his
2:10
physique until the last moment and now we got this physique update, a couple of other
2:15
shots as well and what I'm seeing here is probably the leanest version of him ever but
2:22
still even this shredded, this lean, he doesn't have exactly the deepest separation. That's
2:29
just the way his physique is, he has a lot of veins so he's very vascular which will
2:34
make him look kinda grainy but as far as the separation, it's not exactly the deepest and
2:40
I think he's gotten leaner but I think he lost some size in the process. We'll see once
2:45
the peak week is over, maybe he's just already depleted here but overall I don't think his
2:50
physique changed that much. I mean he's amazing, top 8 in the Arnold Classic is still a pretty
2:55
big success but I don't see him beating the other guys. For example, this guy right here, Anton Wean. Now, I know that Anton doesn't have exactly
3:05
the most bubbly, the most round physique but still this guy is like 270 on stage and his
3:13
conditioning is looking like this right now and he says in the caption of this photo zero
3:17
filters so this is it. He is extremely peeled, this is a really, really low body fat percent
3:25
and he has the thin skin and like deep separation, you know, he has a really high quality muscle
3:31
and with this kind of muscle, with this kind of grainy, deeply separated and striated muscle
3:37
everywhere basically, I think he's gonna go a long way. He can't beat some of the guys
3:43
who are just enormous, who are just massive everywhere and super round but some of these
3:49
guys like Mohamed Chaban, I think Anton can beat them based on his conditioning, his deep
3:56
details and just, you know, he has the size. He has also really massive legs so it's gonna
4:01
be a battle. This is a tough one but I have Anton Weant in 8th spot and in 7th spot I have this guy
4:09
Akim Williams. Now, Akim was also very shy during this prep. He didn't post a lot of physique
4:15
updates and lately he posted a couple and here is one of them and so I'm seeing that he is back
4:23
He is definitely, officially back after his shoulder surgery. He went off for a while and he
4:29
looked like he doesn't even lift and now he's back and he has all the size back and, you know
4:34
Akim Williams with a good back is Ronnie Coleman. Like he's that good. I mean, take a look at the
4:41
legs, take a look at the arms, the shoulders, the chest is insane. That's one of the thickest chest
4:46
in the IBB. Like the legs from behind, also glutes, hamstrings, everything is good. Everything is
4:53
super, super massive. This guy is a mass monster and he has details. He has depth in the separation
5:00
in the chest and legs, everywhere. Basically, the only flaw is the back but like I said, if he had
5:05
a back, he would be battling against Heidrich Chaban and Samson in this show. However, he doesn't
5:11
and I don't think he can fix that. It depends on how conditioned he is. If he brings this kind of
5:16
conditioning that he brought once, only once in his career, only one year, where he placed 6th in
5:22
Mr. Olympia as well, if he brings this, then he can go even higher probably because when he is like
5:28
this, everything just looks so much better because he has that much muscle, he can afford to be
5:33
this shredded but also his back actually starts to look pretty good. I mean, better, a lot better
5:39
than when he is off shape. But even when he is not completely on, he can still beat a lot of people
5:44
who are conditioned more than him because of his muscle, his shape, but mainly the size
5:51
And this is bodybuilding. So, I have this guy in 7th here. Alright, so we are getting to the top
5:57
6. You probably expected a top 6 like this. You probably weren't sure who was gonna make that 6th
6:02
spot but about top 5, I think that's pretty secure. Now, in 6th, I have John De La Rosa
6:09
Now, you are wondering maybe why John De La Rosa, how can he beat guys like Kim Williams? He is not
6:15
that size or he is not gonna be as conditioned as Anton Voyan maybe or something like that. Well
6:21
John De La Rosa is actually pretty freaking massive. He is a short guy but he never competed
6:28
in 212, so he is probably way above that weight cap. So, I think he is like bigger, heavier
6:35
than Derek Lansford for example or Harry Choupin. I think he is like 240, something like that
6:39
So, with that size, with that roundness, he has a really good shape, like 3D type of looking
6:45
bubbly shape and also he has a really good back. So, he is complete, he is very complete, very big
6:52
for his frame, very, very round, like everything is there, everything is popping and he is bigger
6:58
now, much bigger than his last showing at Tampa Pro where he took that second to Hunter Labrada
7:03
He is like 10 pounds heavier and he is way more conditioned. He is just overall much better. So
7:10
I have him in my top 6 at exactly 6th spot. Now, now, now it becomes very tricky. Top 5
7:18
This can go so many different ways but personally, I will choose James Holinesshead for my 5th spot
7:26
Now, I know how big he is, how massive he is. Yeah, he is gonna be one of the biggest guys
7:33
probably second biggest guy in that top 5 but I don't know if he has the quality, the conditioning
7:41
and the details, the quality of the physique. Is he gonna have that to be higher than 50 Arnold
7:47
I don't know. I don't think so. Yes, he has Milos Sartor in his corner now. So
7:52
I am expecting him to be his absolute best. I am expecting him to be, to peak at least
7:58
the best, to be in the best shape ever but James Holinesshead is really like a very muscular
8:06
and very lean powerlifter. Like he doesn't have the best details like a bodybuilder and that's
8:13
because he trains that way. I mean he has a lot of thickness, he is definitely very, very big and he
8:18
has that hard grainy look but you know his skin doesn't look the thinnest. He doesn't have the
8:24
best quality from behind and also from the front and also structure wise he is not exactly perfect
8:31
I mean nobody is perfect but I don't see him placing above the two Brazilians, HorseMD and
8:37
Rafael Brandao and in fourth spot I do have HorseMD. Now, in this most recent physique update
8:44
of his, he looks absolutely insane. He is gonna be bigger even than Rafael Brandao. I am pretty sure
8:52
He is probably gonna be very close to James Holinesshead as far as size actually. He is a big guy
8:58
as well but it's that back double bicep that is really throwing me off. I wouldn't be too comfortable
9:04
putting him above that fourth spot, you know beating Rafael Brandao. I don't see that happening
9:10
because of the back. In one of his posts he says there are eight poses and only two of them are back
9:16
shots and even though that's true I would argue and I would say that back double bicep really carries
9:21
a lot of weight because that's like one of the most important poses. Just like front double bicep
9:27
in the back double bicep you really can't hide your flaws so you're exposed in that pose and if
9:33
it looks weak it's gonna take away a lot from your physique so I think that is the only reason why I
9:40
do have him in fourth instead of third. I mean that is an amazing achievement. That would be an amazing
9:47
achievement because he just turned pro. I mean recently he had a pro debut last year and now he's
9:52
already doing the Arnold Classic. If he crags the top four or top five that would be just amazing
9:58
and I think he has what it takes. He has phenomenal shape, really beautiful lines, he has some really
10:03
strong poses, his legs are just insane, you know hamstrings and quads both. His physique is pretty
10:10
aesthetic like more aesthetic than James Holinesshead's and this is Arnold Classic so I think
10:15
they're gonna consider that as well and that is also a big reason why I have Raphael Brandau
10:21
in my third spot. It's because the criteria at the Arnold Classic is a little bit different
10:27
from Mr. Olympia. I mean the size is not everything. They are looking for more of a
10:33
aesthetic classic looking physique. Arnold is pushing for that and I think the judging
10:38
criteria is a little bit different than at Mr. Olympia so I think Raphael is gonna be in that top
10:44
three. He was battling and beating Samson Dauda only like two years ago and he progressed. He has
10:51
gotten bigger. He is definitely not the biggest guy. James Holinesshead is gonna be bigger
10:55
HorseMD also probably, but you know with Raphael's shape, with his beautiful lines, with his deep
11:02
separation and like conditioning everywhere top to bottom and with his beautiful symmetry and
11:07
completeness of the physique, I think it's just gonna take him a long way all the way to the top
11:14
three in my opinion. As far as battling Samson again and beating him, I don't think he came that
11:20
far. Maybe someday in the future if he gains a lot more thickness right now. No, no. Samson is
11:26
definitely way ahead and Hadi also. Now we come to the top two and yeah obviously it's Hadi versus
11:33
Samson and this one is really tough. I mean first of all Hadi just beat Samson at Mr Olympia. In my
11:39
opinion it wasn't that much of a knockout right. It was pretty close if you ask me. If Samson was
11:46
a little bit sharper, who knows maybe it will be different and as far as this show Arnold Classic
11:52
I think Samson is gonna bring better conditioning. I don't think he's going to be as shredded as Hadi
11:59
but I think he's going to bring something we haven't really seen so far. A little bit better
12:04
than his previous best conditioning but Hadi, man Hadi is massive. He's really big and that crazy
12:12
grinniness and hardness to the chest and quads and stomach. It can be a little bit too much for
12:18
Samson to handle. On the other hand, Samson has the height. He has beautiful aesthetic shape
12:25
which is something they're really looking for at the Arnold Classic. He's also the defending
12:31
champion. He knows how to pose in a let's say classy golden era way. His physique is just
12:39
very very aesthetic, very proportionate, very very symmetrical. Tall guy with small joints
12:45
with bubbly shape. Hadi is not exactly that. He's kind of like a freak, a freaky bodybuilder. He's
12:52
more of a Nick Walker category. So this mashup reminds me of Nick Walker versus Samson again
12:59
I think Hadi has better chances than Nick had at the Arnold Classic but I still think Samson is
13:05
gonna take the win. I don't think Hadi is gonna win this. So I do have Hadi in second and the
13:11
winner of the Arnold Classic 2024 in my opinion is gonna be Samson Douda. Even though I see that
13:18
Hadi is coming really strong. He's probably gonna be the best version of himself. I think he improved
13:25
that back also. He's probably gonna be sharper than he was at Mr. Olympia but still, still I just
13:34
don't see it. I just don't see Hadi winning Arnold Classic because of all the reasons I just mentioned
13:40
Samson's shape and structure and symmetry and height plus the size and now with the best
13:47
conditioning we ever saw. I think it's gonna be enough. I think it's gonna be plenty. I think
13:53
Samson is winning this. If you guys like my prediction, tell me down below if you disagree
13:58
with something. Also please go ahead say whatever you think down below in the comment section and
14:03
also make sure to leave your top 10. Not just top 5. Give me your top 10 if you have it. If you don't
14:09
have it, top 5 is fine. I just want to compare it to yours to see how many of you guys agree with me
14:15
and if you guys enjoy this video, please give it a thumbs up and subscribe for the best coverage
14:19
of the Arnold Classic coming soon. Thank you guys again so much. All the best and bye bye
