We just had a head-to-head with Sam Maxwell. How happy are you to have a chance to again fight in Sheffield

and to win that British title outright? I feel honoured. Another big night in Sheffield making history

and it's going to be a great turnout. The people coming out to support, they always surprise me

And the last two fights you've had have gone the distance, you've got the rounds in, but you've still tried stuff out

still look slick still dominated the fights do you think that's more important than just getting a

stoppage and and what builds hype that doesn't necessarily grow your career definitely for me

the main thing was getting around under my belt you know to be a champion you're going to be able

to do it all but and if you're not getting around under the belt it's all right doing is for you

need to be doing it on fight night so no i always said that my last two performances are going to

put me in better stead than you know any of the fights where i've blown anybody out and um i know

I know someone mentioned the Zim and you said there obviously big fights out in that can be made But I have to mention it because I said to you I don want the Azeem fight to sort of over Will that happen within the near two years or so

Of course. Obviously, we're both on different paths. We're both doing well

As long as we keep on winning, that's a potential big fight

But we've both got a lot of winning to do. That'll always be a big fight

As long as we keep doing well, that'll sell out of the stadium. I listened to the Still See Gym 5 Live podcast and he was saying you've been travelling around

for such a long time with big championship tournaments. Do you feel that's what separates you in terms of your development as a fighter, as a prospect

That you've had so many big overseas tournaments and that might help with in-house away fights

in America down the line? Yeah, I mean, my amateur experience is always going to put me in good stead

Even the likes of Sam. He's been around the world as well and got that experience

For us, if we have to fight overseas in the future, it's not going to be a problem for us
