where we're looking ahead to the blockbuster matchup this week. There's Terrence Crawford versus Errol Spence for undisputed World to Weight Championships

We're joined by Tokers from No Smoke Sport, TJ, better known as Chilltown on Twitter

and George Glinski from The Daily Mail. Guys, how are we doing? Very good, thank you

South fellas. All good, all good. Tokers, I'll come to you first

How big is this one? I mean, I'm stating your butt. It's huge, isn't it

Yeah, very, very big. You know a fight's big when a UK broadcaster

puts it on pay-per-view at 5 o'clock in the morning. Yeah. And that's what it really needs to be said

It's the best fighting boxing. and it's ridiculous man it's ridiculous like two top five pound-for-pound fighters fighting each other

on disputed titles probably pound-for-pound number one up the state if if and the way doesn't do something

ridiculous on Tuesday but it's it's just the fight everyone and anyone that's a boxing fan should be

watching it's the fight um it's the fight um it's it's just, yeah, I never thought it would happen, but we're here. We're here now

And all those years of failed negotiations and saying who sells what are gone, and it's just the fight and it's beautiful

Chill, come to you. Is this, obviously, again, this has been rumbling on for years

It's probably, in terms of actual quality of fighters, it's probably the best fight we're seeing since Golokkin Canelo first got

announced for the first fight. Is this happening at the right time, or do you think it's maybe edging towards being a bit

late, or do you think it's okay? It's perfect timing. I think it's perfect timing

I mean, like Toks was saying, I got people that don't even watch boxing, talking about

this fight, you know, Errol Spence and Bud going back and forth, you know, who they think's

going to win. There's a lot of buzz about it. And like Toks was saying, like, it's amazing that there's

two pound for pound fighters in the same weight class with all the belts that are undefeated

Like no one's beat either of these guys. And to me, they're still in their prime

Like, I haven't seen them lose that step. They still, they're going out and they're competing at their best

No one's ever said like, oh, he looked better a couple years ago. These guys are fighting at their prime

So for me, like the buildup, yeah, we could have gotten in earlier, but I'm not mad at it

And for me personally, like my generation, I'm in my 30s. I grew up with the Welterweight Division

Like the Welterweight Division is what brought a lot of people. It was popping. Like you had Mayweather and Pacquiao

You had Shane Mosley, Antonio Margarito. By me, where I'm from, you had Zab Judah, Miguel Cotto fans

Like Ricky Hatton, like that was the Golden Division, Welterweight Division. And you have, still to this day now, you have these two that are just bringing the best, like, they're the elite of the elite

And they're going to fight. And, you know, finally we're going to get it

We had so many close calls. George, these are the kind of fights boxing needs, aren't they

And we're seeing a few of them this year. How big do you think this is in terms of UK audience

not just global, but in terms of UK, with it being the time that it's on, like Tucker said

it's still a pay-per-view. Do you think it's going to do the numbers it should do

Do you think it will have enough interest over here? Numbers it should do, probably not just because of the time

I think it's massive. It gets bigger. It's one of those fights where because it's failed so many times

people want to see it more, which I think we're going to get with the Usick Fury fight

as soon as that and eventually happens. It will just, everyone will be in such demand

because it constantly keeps getting failed and failed and failed, and then we finally got it

I get a lot of hype from readers especially, anything on Crawford and Spence

which may not have hit the same heights a year or two ago

is now really kicking up numbers in terms of articles and videos

I think there's a lot of interest. As you say, it's the biggest fight in boxing

There is no bigger fight. Fights like this transcend the sport. I expect there'll be massive casual appeal

People that aren't necessarily big boxing fans, even UK fans that aren't massive boxing fans

will tune in for this fight because potentially a pound-for-pound number one place is on the line

These are potentially the two best boxers in the world. And, you know, it's just incredible

that we're getting these undisputed fights finally over the line. We just need the heavyweights to take notice and we're on for a winner

That's what we do need. That's what we do need. And that has been much, much of the problem in that weight division

But at well away, we've got it. And we've got the big, like you said, it is the biggest fight out there

There isn't one bigger. Tokers how good are these two I mean let dissect it a little bit into their styles and their strengths

How do you see this one going? I don't know. I genuinely don't know

I'm edging Grawford. I genuinely, it's just one of these fights that I just don't know how it's

one to go and I'm not usually like that. No. I'm usually very cut and dry about how I fight's going to go and I don't know how

this is going to go. Crawford is probably one of the best finishes in boxing when he's got someone

hurt in the last sort of 10, since I've been watching a sport, 10, 15 years

Sort of hasn't gone to points in seven years by the time he steps in there

Victor Postal was banging everyone out. Yeah, it's sort of lower opposition

but yeah that's that's the thing because it's is the what he's doing to law opposition real

or is spence having sort of shaking moments against world champions like eugas and porter

when he's actually fighting elite opposition is that better that's the equation in my head and i don't know

i mean they're both going to take each other to places the other one hasn't been before aren't they

I think we're well aware of that. You obviously said about Crawford hasn't been taking points in seven years or whatever

but there's every chance that this goes the distance because they are both that good

And a stoppage is probably hard to predict from either side. Chia, I'll come to you

Pretty much the same question as talkers. I mean, what do you think is going to be a key factor in this fight in terms of giving someone the advantage

I mean, these guys are so equally skilled, different skills, but equally skilled

They don't know how to lose. They're going to come in shape, so I don't know

I wouldn't even say it's corner work, probably determination hard. I don't know

Don't mean to make it sound corny, but there's going to be places they're going to have to go to really

if it's that even of a fight to have to make a difference, to have to flip that switch

to find that extra gear. You know, expense didn't have to do with Mikey Garcia, Danny Garcia, you know

And the competition level of Bud, people have said, well, are they really A-level fighters that he's stepping up

I mean, he stopped everybody at Welthwaite. Since, you know, we started at 135, 140

He hit 147, he stopped everybody. But, you know, who's he fighting

Yeah. I mean, that's the thing. I mean, your similarities, on their records, but George, obviously Spence hasn't been the most active of fighters

There's no denying his quality. But do we think inactivity could play a part in this fight

Potentially. Was it 15 months since the Eugas fight? Something like that

The crash, I think it's one fight in three years. He looked good against Dugas

So it wasn't the case of Ring Russ there. There's an extra 15 months on top of that

play a part potentially when it comes down to fine margins. I don't think it will be a massive contributor to this fight

We mentioned very, very minor margins in this fight. As you say, intangibles are a massive part of this

But I think the biggest part of this for me is when it comes down to those fine margins

Crawford, suspect of being a little bit of a slow starter against a man in Spence

who tends to come out pretty hard, stick it on his man. I think he'll go out there, stick it on him, win those couple of extra rounds at the start

and that could really be the difference here. He looks good. I haven't seen any decline since the crash necessarily

I know there was a moment in the Eugas fight where we thought he might be in a bit of trouble

Apparently, I was watching the Showtime All Access episode. It was something to do with his gum shield and he was worried about his teeth falling out

So, I mean, that could, you know, we could buy that. But as you say, I think in activity, potentially, as you say, in small margins, does it play a part, potentially

But I am slowly edging towards Spence. So we'll get to that part in a minute

But, yeah, I am. Toppers, do you see any chinks in the arm with it either one can exploit or will be looking to exploit

sort of splitting hairs Crawford is naturally smaller obviously there's like he's a naturally smaller man

there's talk of Spence going out to middleweight to fight Canelo however ludicrous that is

you'd never hear that talk with Crawford because he's a lightweight, super lightweight really

I do think Spence could be a little fragile like those moments against Lugas when he was hurt I done this is I sort of come come to a point where it like

there's going to be a point in there where Spence gets hit with something

and he's either going to get hurt and survive it or get hurt and get stopped

And that's going to be the key thing. And that's, I don't know how that's going to go because I don't know how he'll react

Because he was hurt against Lugas, but then he survived it. Can he survive an onslaught when he's hurt against Crawford

And I don't know. Like, it's such an intriguing fight. It's such an intriguing fight

I just, I've usually got a lot to say, but I just haven't, man, because I don't know

This is the difficult thing, isn't it? We're having a sort of almost trying to find comparisons in terms of what is different about them

and what could stand out and what they could exploit the wit. we're all sort of struggling

Like Georgia said, it's about fine margins, isn't it, Jill? And that is what it's going to be on the night

It could even just be down to who wants it more, whoever makes the slightest mistake on the night

that the other one can capitalize on. Do you think it's going to be something like that

that determines the winner of this fight, Chil? Yeah, I do. Yeah, when you got a close fight like this

that's exactly what it's going to be. I mean, I have a pretty strong pick in it

So, you know, I haven't really tethered back and forth on it

I mean, I can give my prediction now. Let me give my prediction. Good gone

Yes, you're predicting. Yeah. So as soon as this was announced, like I've had this fight in my head for years

And I put a heavy bet on this. I haven't posted yet

I'll post it. Eventually, I was waiting. but, you know, if you guys follow me, I post a lot of my bets

But, look, Spence looks like he's a weight class bigger than Dan Bud, standing next to him

We all see that. Spence is the naturally bigger guy. He's been at 147 his whole career

Spence has a phenomenal jab. He's got the best jab. You know, it's a piston-like jab

He's younger. He's younger than Bud. And I got to go with Spence

I got to go with Spence to get his ass beat. I got Bud in this, and I'll tell you

Oh, Spence is elite. Like I tell people, you know, Lomachenko's elite, AJ's elite

We know that. But there's something above elite, and I put a few fighters in there, and they're special

What makes them special is they know how to win. Bud has a extra gear, an extra switch

in those rounds of the fight when I think he might have

Spence hurt or he needs to dig deeper I think but like Bud would never let

Spencer off the hook like Ugas did you know and I don't even raid Ugas

I'm gonna be honest with you that win against Pacquil was a shell of himself

compared to the Pagiel at Fort Dermann I do not raid Ugas I thought Ugas

I lost to Thomas the Lombe you know listen I think Bud

is going to be forced to fight, he switch hits, he's got a lot more tools in the toolbox, and as much as

I love Spence, I got Bud, I see Bud getting a decision, or he could hurt him late. That's, I got, I got

I got Bud. I think you're going Spence here. I thought you're building up to a Spence pick

there, but, yeah, Tuckers, when we come to you next, mate. Who, who are you picking? I

The Port-a-fight is what I'm thinking, for Crawford. It's... He went back after the 9th

Beaumach said he was behind, and he came out and put him down twice, and I think something similar might happen

There'll be a point where he needs to up the gears. He'll hurt, bent. I think he'll stop him late

I don't know. I, Crawford stoppage mid to late. I don't know

I have no idea. Sort of 8, 9, 10, something like that

but honestly no result is, I'd be surprised at anything, but I think tentatively crawl for bus stoppage

George, let's come to you of your pick. Well, I mentioned earlier about the early rounds

and how nicking those will be really important in the fight. I do think that Spencer will win this by decision

I'm not confident. I don't think you can be confident in a fight like this, but I would edge him slightly

I think, again, game plans, who's one of the best game planners in the game

who is the best trainer in the world at the moment, Derek James. Again, I know that McIntyre is obviously a great trainer as well

but it comes down to small margins. Will he be a difference, probably? Spence being the bigger man

I did notice that he's eating considerably less food. I think he's considering a move up to Super World's Wait after this one

So that will be interesting to see how that weight affects him positively or negatively having that advantage or potentially cutting a little bit too much weight That will be interesting

Vegas judges love activity. They absolutely love activity. And I do think that even if we might

see Crawford picking off those beautiful counters and landing those more significant shots

that barrage of punches from Spence might just score a little bit better with the Vegas judges, which is another factor in this one

Yeah, I do think he'll edge it. Maybe it might even be a fight where a lot of fans think

that Crawford won it and Spence ends up winning it. That could actually happen

Are you talking Golovkin Canello? Oh no. Maybe, maybe. I'm thinking a little bit closer potentially than that. But

yeah, I think there's very, there's very tiny, minuscule indicators which slightly edgements

me towards Spence. So I am picking him for this fight. Okay

I said to you guys off camera that I've not been, I've had the same pick throughout

And I haven't sort of back and forth about who I think is going to win the fight

I've kind of gone back and forth in terms of method. And that is still my sticking point

It's a very, it's hard to say because of who I'm picking out

like we said earlier, hasn't gone to points in a long time

But I think I'm picking Crawford. I think Crawford's going to win

I think he just finds a way of getting the job done. And again, I think if he jumps on him

I don't think Spencer's going to have the answers for it. But I have deliberated between points and stoppage

because I think Spencer is going to ask questions that Crawford has never been asked before

but if I have to pick, I'm probably going to go Crawford 8 to 10

I think there's going to be a moment in this fight where he catches Spence

I think Spence isn't ever going to have been hit like that before

And I think Crawford is going to pounce on him. And I think that could be when we see the job done

Yeah, I've not once fought. It is fine margins, but I've fought Crawford

the whole way so I'm sticking with that. Hey, Lee, just real quick, I just wanted to say that the fight that gave me pause with

was Spencer, it's always been in the back of my mind was a fight that I had Bet Spence

when he fought Kellbrook. And in that fight was very telling to me because, one, I was nervous in rounds one

two, four, because Kelbrook, Prime Kelbrook kind of had a jump in and out style similar

to Bud, but Bud is more versatile that has the power, right

And he was frustrating, Spence. And I always thought, like, Kel Brook wasn't the same Kelbrook after he jumped up

two-way classes for Triple G, his first fight back was jumping back down. And we all know his eye failed him

But Spence seemed frustrated at times where he really couldn't do what he wanted to to Kelbrook

And the pressure eventually, you know, got to Kel. But I always thought, like, if that was Bud in there against that, I was spent

I think, you know, Bud's not going to fail. and we didn't see the best version of Kel

I don't know. That's always been in the back of my mind where I see methods for Bud to get around that

Yeah, I think going back to that fight in particular, I think, like you said, Kelbrook had a lot of early success

in that fight, didn't he? And it was only when the eye sort of got damaged

And I know it was the other eye, but he probably had flashbacks to what had happened

in the previous fight and this. and that definitely played a huge factor in it

And the one that sticks in my mind is the Sean Porter one

He struggled with Sean Porter and Crawford didn't. But he did go tooth and nail

He did fight him in Sean Porter's way of fighting inside, you know, going all out in his own

He beat him at his own game. It's as simple as that. And also the Kelbrook fight, we're talking three years apart as well

That plays a factor. But I agree. Crawford definitely fought a different Calgary, definitely

Yeah. No two ways about that. But, yeah, sorry, George, what you were going to say after that

That was my point. Just the fact that these are, I mean, we can compare these fights

but as I say, styles make fires and that adage. But, you know, we're talking about two different types of fights

So it's a good comparison to make, but equally it's difficult. It's a difficult one to make

It's going to be about fine margins. as we said. None of us are hugely confident in our predictions, are we

But it'd be interesting to see, weren't it? And, yeah, chill, I'm looking forward to seeing this bet posted
