Ruthless and engaging plot lines and regular musical sequences made Fox's "Empire" a truly unique show. It premiered in 2015 and snagged nearly 10 million viewers upon its debut. "Empire" focused on Lucious Lyon, played by Terrence Howard. He was a narcotics dealer turned hip-hop exec and CEO of the record label, Empire Entertainment.
