Multiple area baseball players drafted into MLB this weekend

The Cleveland Guardians drafted former Joel Barlow High School pitcher Matt Scott in the eighth round. Scott graduated from the school in 2022. He was a member of the Georgia Bulldog team that made it to the College World Series last year.
