Bronx woman indicted for falsely reporting a bomb threat aboard a Metro-North train

In May 2025, while traveling on a New Haven-bound train through Westchester County, Albertyna Mendoza allegedly sent a series of text messages to 911 falsely claiming a man was carrying a bomb in his hand aboard the train.
